  1. Okay so basically I have a 2060, Which is great, it gets the job done for everything I need, the problem is that it doesnt support a DVI port which is what my second monitor used to run on at 144hz. I can use the hdmi port on the monitor and the graphics card, but im locked at 60hz because only the monitors DVI port supports 144. My question is, if i get a displayport to DVI adapter / Cable, will it support 144hz?
  2. Thankyou, I appreciate the help, if i only have an hdmi port on the back of my computer is there nothing i could do? would an external graphics card work?
  3. Hello, I have a setup at a different house with the exact same monitor but I used DVI on that one, the problem is, i'm only getting a maximum of 60hz to display, so I thought it must be the cable, so I went out and bought an HDMI 2.0 cable and it still isn't letting me go past 60hz this is the monitor I bought is linked below along with my Pre built PC https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009642&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Gaming+Monitors-_-N82E16824009642&gclid=Cj0KCQiAgf3gBRDtARIsABgdL3k5eyz2uUmoIr2_LPNW6OTxHvRaCnn1C1-PwsBD8VBFNbjdo7MThYQaAnI3EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds https://www.amazon.com/Alienware-ASM100-1580-i3-4130T-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B00MA7AMKY Can the port on the computer just not display it? if i buy an HDMI to DVI adapter would it work?
