Hi all,
I'm new to this forum. Just a quick overview to myself: 31 years old, bases in Munich, Germany, buidling my own PC's since 13 years (but now I have a beginners question :))
As I'm not sure, if this would be a topic for the cooling-forum, please be so kind and move it to there.
I'm building a new PC at end of January and I'm trying to figure out how to assemble my case fans the best way.
Currently the setup is (all fans are 120mm)
1. Front fan: pushing are into the case
2. Bottom fan: Sucking air out
3. Rear fan: Sucking air out
4. Top fan: Pushing air in
5. CPU fan: Pushing against the GPU.
So my idea is now.
1 and 3 stay the same way, but maybe high pressure fans
2 stays the same (static fan)
4 pushing out (static fan)
5 turn the CPU fan directing to the top
My new setup will be:
CPU: Intel i9-9900k
MB: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite
RAM: HyperX 2x8 GB (maybe 4x8 GB)
GPU: Asus GeForce RTX2070 ROG Strix OC Gaming
CPU cooler: Alpenfoehn Brocken 3 (140 mm, up to 220 Watts)
PSU: Corsair HX1000
Things I already have
Case: Fractel Define R2, XL
Storage: 2x SSD and 2x HDD.
Thank you for your help.
Greetings
