Sometimes different combination of GPU and PSU can lead to reduced coil whine. I tried 3 different PSUs and 2 different GPUs ... any combination I made, coil whine was always there.

My "solution" was, to move PC in room below mine, and simply buy 5M displayport/USB/HDMI cables. Now noise can't get to me and I can sleep peacefully.

    What about changing clock speeds?

Yes you are in the wrong section. Over unity isn't discussed on this forum.

I mean if you completely sealed off your case(so no air escapes through any gap besides the exhaust fan) and have several intake fans, and an unpowered exhaust fan (which would spin slightly due to air pressure) it could generate some electricity, but the electricity generated would be a tiny fraction of what's used to power the intake fans.

Technically yes, but the amount of power you'd generate would be in microwatts -- not even enough to power an LED.

    Alright, thanks guys!

I don't think it will be enough, and if you link your cpu cooler I can tell you because frankly sir I don't believe you

I think my panel fans are crap. If i buy decent quality fans and replace these crap ones then  then maybe the temperature will lower.

If you restored your PC to before you got infected, it shouldn't really be present anymore.

Then again, part of me wonders why you would even consider downloading a shady file from a Russian video tutorial? You set a restore point, so you were even anticipating things to go south.

I just wanted apex legends to work on my phenom cpu. I saw the guy in the video run some virus check and i got sketched out. So thats why i set a restore point. Lol

  5. Alright so, I found this Russian video claiming to fix the unsupported cpu fix for apex legends a lot of the comments said it worked so i was naive and downloaded the file. I set a restore point just before i opened the file and thank god i set a restore point because as soon as i opened it Windows defender notifications were popping up saying "Windows Defender Antivirus has detected malware or other potentially unwanted software.
For more information please see the following:

Straight away, i ran system restore and deleted the download file as soon as i got back into windows. I also ran a full scan of my hard drive using windows defender. Do i still have the virus somehow?

what you have told me means nothing, a proper statement that gives me information that can help me determine if your fan or cooler needs to be repositioned is

"it is sucking from my exhaust fan and blowing air into my case"

    or

"it is sucking air from my case and blowing air into my exhaust fan"

My cpu cooler exhausting air from its fan going into the back exhaust fan. Going to add a side fan to my side panel that exhausts the air out. I think that we'll work

if you can't add fans or change case(for a gpu lol) then you should run it with the side open and to be honest that case is just shit going into the future if you can't improve the thermals it's going to have to go sooner or later anyway

Is my CPU fan exhausting or intaking?

I see two fans and no information about the way your cpu fan is going so I'm going to assume that your case only has 2 fans and you don't know which way your cpu cooler is going so I'm going to go ahead and diagnose your problem and that is it.

    You're welcome

Ok. My case has only two fans and no I don't know the which way your cpu cooler is going. Let me go try the other way now lol.

amd cards are great for winter

that being said is your CPU heatsink pulling air against the exhaust fan or pushing air out of it?

and it would be more important to know how your case fans are setup my friend

There's the inside of my case. Should i turn my cpu fan to the right side?
