  1. Hello, My PC is 1 year old, I built it myself. From UserBenchmarks: Game 114%, Desk 105%, Work 109% CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K - 101.7% GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070S (Super) - 108.8% SSD: OCZ ARC 100 240GB - 87.7% SSD: Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe PCIe M.2 1TB - 315.6% HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 3TB - 96.2% HDD: SABRENT 500GB - 52.8% RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 C16 2x16GB - 103.3% MBD: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON (MS-7B17) I do a lot of gaming and but it mostly blue screens while idle listening to music or watching a movie. the only games it has blue screened on are. Minecraft (also random crashes sometimes) and the beta of call of duty cold war. my last blue screen happened just 30 mins ago and the previous ones happened on the 16-17th and i have about 4 in those two days. If i were to think how long they happen apart from each other I would say every 3 weeks. Any help would do, Thanks services.txt

  3. Looking for New, good build quality or at least a reliable laptop. I need it for travel, it'll be used with a TV (Needs HDMI). 8 GB of RAM, Good temps and not loud. I have found some laptops and the DELL Inspiron 15 5000 i3-1005G1 - Seems to be the best and in my price range. When i look into reviews It makes me worried if it's any good. I have an excel doc with laptops I have looked into. Andrew Laptop Summer 2020.xlsx
  4. I agree with what you say, Maybe what i need to know is what are the good CPUs and what to stay away from. I see about 300 laptops on my local store websites. I guess i just need to filter out the crap ones and I'm sorta worried about getting a bad build quality one. Thanks for you help I'll update my post with new info soon.

  6. So budget is 500-600 euro. I’ll be using it for school work and online web searching and videos. Location-Ireland. it needs an hdmi and Ethernet port. Audio jack if possible. at least 8gb. If you know of any good brands or have links to past updated threads send them my way. Thanks Andrew
  7. Got it working by switching around some cables inside the pc and adding a new sata cable, i think i the problem was an outdated cable
  8. I think my last option is to replace the sata cables
  9. I was trying the old HDD with the usb but i was getting the same issue, i'll give that a go in a few.
  10. On my main PC i'm using a Sata port, on my laptop that works i'm using a sata to usb
  11. Its weird how it is pulling it up as a multi-card usb device. Since it works on my laptop using a usb, is it possible for me to change (multi-card usb into Let's say an SSD?)
