  1. thank you, we've observed pin2+pin3 load in games and total value hovers between 160-200w. i think thats perfectly fine for these 16awg cables!
  2. Hello dear people, I have a question. We've purchased a RM850 model for an ASUS Rog Strix 3080. Given that the GPU can go up to 450w, we thought that a high quality 850w PSU would do us good. Sadly, the PSU only came with two PCI-e cables whereas Corsair's website claims this specific PSU has there PCI-e cables. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/Power-Supply-Units-Advanced/RM-Series™-80-PLUS-Gold-Power-Supplies/p/CP-9020196-NA#tab-overview My question is, how safe it is to use only two PCI-e cables with this 3x8 pin GPU? Should we just return the PSU and find another model? How come a 850W PSU does not include 3 pcie connectors? What is even the point of all those power if it does not contain enough PCI-e connectors? Apparently some people say that "new" revisions can be shipped with 2 cables but this makes no sense, at all.
  3. sadly, we couldn't find any actual benchmarks. "I would say not, I would highly recommend you to use the stock cooler instead of wasting money on that thing." "120mm liquid coolers suck." 80c on r5 3600 seems a lot, friend wants temps near 60-70. we checked stock cooler benchmarks for the 5600x and in heavy games it seems to hover around 80c, which makes me question the h45's validity. h45 is also much much cheaper than the coolers within that tier. after all, there are lots of coolers in tier 4 that are suggested reliably for 5600x. by that logic, h45 should manage the 5600x fine, but I have doubts if its really going perform similar to the, say, arctic espots 34 duo (tier 6), then i will advise my friend to keep his h45. his budget allows tier 5-6 CPUs at the moment and he already has a h45. if h45 is indeed similar or a bit of better compared to those coolers, then he should keep using it, no?
  4. Hello, asking for a friend here, my friend has a H45 cooler with only one fan (120 mm) and wants to build a system with a 5600x seeing it as Tier 4, one would think its a decent cooler for 5600x but our researched showed that even stock fan that comes with 5600x would be better for it what do you think?
  5. Thank you a lot for the extended offset range!
  6. check your vram usage if it's near max utilization, this can potentially happen this shouldn't have happened with rainbow 6 though whats your settings and resolution_
  7. Also wanted to leave my thanks here. The software is amazing!
  8. Ryzen 5600x ASUS ROG Strix B550-F 1 TB NVME SSD 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD Corsair RM750 (new and grey label) We're currently using this build with a R9 380 and my friend await stocks for a RX 6800xt. This table confused my friend and he wanted to learn if he really needs 850W for some specific 6800xt models. Do you think RM750 would be fine with all these models? Or should we stick to the 750w recommendations?
  9. Sadly I couldn't repeat what I happened to me. Since the last incident (friday), not a single issue happened, in general i hope it was a one time issue and won't haunt me in the future, but u never know
  10. No, can u provide additional screenshot for that error? I looked every kind of tab but i couldnt find such an error. Didn't happen still, but kinda irked me. this is what I hate about computers... randomness and crashes
  11. Same happened to me today, also on a Ryzen system. I was on desktop, watching a Zoom lesson Gigabyte B450 Gaming X Ryzen 7 2700x GTX 1080 PSU High Power Performance GD 750W (Tier B psu) GPU is being fed with two seperate PCI-e cables Chipset and Windows is updated to their last versions No overclock on RAM (if clock 1500 mhz, ram is xmp ballistix 3000 mhz, ryzen certified) Been using the PC for 7 months, its the first time this happened. Will update if it happens again (I can't replicate) PC seemingly restarted itself and came book and with no DUMPs. Maybe it's a Ryzen-Windows 10 related issue with recent updates?
  12. https://www.incehesap.com/corsair-rm750-cp-9020195-eu-750w-full-moduler-power-supply-fiyati-46688/ Is this the Tier A Corsair RM? (gray one?) or the old one that is located in Tier B?
  13. Hello, my friend considers buying a single fan Corsair H45. This one in particular; https://www.akakce.com/islemci-sogutucu/en-ucuz-corsair-hydro-series-h45-cw-9060028-ww-sivi-sogutma-fiyati,54097163.html He has a Ryzen 2700x and wants to overclock it to at least 4.2 ghz/1.4v range. Would this cooler do the trick? He's also streaming with x264 encoding. He wants to be below 65 degrees in stream+game scenarios. Is this possible with this cooler? I see H45 as Tier 3 but dunno what tier accomodotates to what kind of cooling powers.
  14. thank you, i checked the specs, slot should really be suitable for that ssd. same class ssds are listed like western digital sn550. i'd go for wd sn550 but its currently %35 more expensive than the a2000 in our local currency so i preferred going for a2000 for now i hope it turns out okay!
