  1. ill try that right now, just set it to manual and drag all of them to a flat line right?
  2. @Jurrunio, im not too familiar with the fan curves. I tried to set the fan speed to be unchanged regardless of temperature, i tried setting the default setting to silent, an tried to optimize it. Nothing really changed between any of those settings. I didnt change any of the components of my pc except my case so wouldn't my settings be unchanged, meaning the fans should be performing the same as before i took the pc apart? And CAM probably ownt change anything because that is only specific to the aio
  3. Motherboard: Asus ROG maximus xi Hero (Wifi) Fans: thermaltake riing trio 120mm Controller: TT sync premium Aio: NZXT kraken x72 Splitter:Rosewill pwn fan splitter I just rebuilt my pc not too long ago with 9 riing trio's 120m and they never caused me any trouble until booting up my pc today. I have a fan slitter into cha_fan 2 and cha_fan 3 which connects to two tt sync premiums (thermaltake) and at idle around 36-40c, the fans are unbelievable loud/rpm is way to high. I am using nzxt kraken x72 which is connected to cpu_fan if that matters. I tried changing it in the bios and CAM but nothing really changes. Any ideas?
  4. Mind explaingin why you point out SSD in particular (does this count for m.2?) and how would I know if any other components are damaged. It’s not really so much kicking, the plug is so loose if I even tap the surge protector, it’ll pop out the outlet.
  5. Specs: Asus ROG Maximus Xi Hero 550w g3 evga psu gtx 1080 32gb 3200ram i7-8700 Question: My pc boots up and everything and doesn't really have problems but every now and then i will kick the outlet and all the power will be turned off. After plunging in the surge protector to outlet and turning my pc on, it will turn of for a split second and turn back on, similarly to when you finish building a pc and you try to boot it (turns on and off a few times). I would post a video but i kinda don't want to push my luck just in case something is wrong. The post code on the motherboard is A0 so i guess everything is working fine but i really wonder why it turns off for a split second after power loss, on my old build with the asus prime z370-a (other components are the same) this didn't happen. TLDR: I would kick the surge protector (which my psu is connected to) from the outlet, pc loses power, plug the surge protector back in, turn on the pc, it turns on,then turns off for a split second, then turns on (might happen once or twice). This only happens if I kick the surge protector out the outlet, no problems after.
  6. I bought 9 riing trio 12 fans (3 packs of 3) and bought the 9 port tt sync controller (for the aura sync compatibility). Inside the pack of 3 fans it says that it is recommended that only 5 fans are plugged into one controller that is supported by the molex cable. However i will not be using the given controller and want to plug all 9 fans into the one tt sync controller. Will there be any problems with power being pulled vs the power being provided (power shortage)? My mother board is the asus rog maximus xi hero. Any tips are welcome since i don't have too much experience! 7. Personally im just asking for the best bang for my buck, so not if ill ever see real life performance but weather or not one is theoretically better than the other. @TempestCatto so if the evo plus and the pro (970) were released at the same time what would you have bought
  8. Thanks for the response! on amazon it says the 970 evo plus has 57% faster RANDOM write speeds, and the max sequential write speed on the evo plus is about 500mb higher as well, can you explain what what that means, and how the 970 pro is still faster than this?
  9. Thinking about getting either the 970 pro (512gb) or the 970 evo plus (500gb), the evo plus is about 20$ cheaper. Is the evo plus supposed to be faster than the 970 pro and is it cheaper cause of the loss of 12 gb? On the website it says the 970 pro is supposed to be used for work intensive actives while the 970 evo plus is for high end gaming and editing, does it really make a difference?
  10. My motherboard is an Asus prime z370-a and I have tridentz rgb 3200 2x8g ram sticks. I have aura sync and it fails to recognize that the ram; when opening aura it will not show a ram icon (ex. Motherboard or gpu icon) meaning i can’t sync it. I have a asus strix 1080 that is 100% recognized upon start up but the ram has a 25% success rate of being recognized by the program. When it isn’t recognized it will still lit up in its default patterns. This has been an ongoing problem since I built this pc in late July/ early August. I would love for my ram stick to sync 100% like my gpu does upon startup without having to open up the program. If my question is unclear please clink the imgur link.
