  1. Just built my first PC! :) I bought the Cooler Master MasterCase H500 case because I loved the look of the front 200mm RBG fans. Both fans are spinning but only 1 has working RBG. Not sure if it's a hardware of software problem or how to find out. Thanks for the help LTT community
  2. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I've heard I could fix it by just starting over and setting up a new VM machine with more allocated space during the setup, but I've downloaded enough that I would really like to keep the same machine if I can fix it's storage problems. I'm not sure how it's booting but here's some screenshots I hope might help. One shows the VMware settings and the other is my file system.
  3. Hello all, I recently got VMwear to get some practice trying out different operating systems in a virtual environment. I got a Kali Linux virtual machine running and assigned it to have 30GB when I set it up in VMware. The problem is after only downloading a few programs my machine is already saying it's out of space and not allowing me to download anything more. I couldn't believe my storage filled up that fast so I used the command 'fdisk -l" it says my Disk /dev/sda: has 30gb but my /dev/loop0 only has 2.5 gigs. I think the problem is I don't know how to get /dev/loop0 to recognize that I should have a whole 30gb that's not being used. Anyone who could help my figured out how to get my machine to have more space on it would be so helpful. I've researched for hours and I can't figure this out. Thank you.
  4. Hi, I'm a big gaming fan and I just recently upgraded my existing pre built PC with a GTX 1070 for playing VR and using my new 144hz display! I was SO excited to try out my VR and join the world of high FPS gaming. I love my new graphics card, but I think my older i5-4440 CPU might be bottlenecking me when I play games. My VR seems to stutter sometimes and I"m not sure why or what's causing it. Whoever knows about CPU's please let me know if a i5-4440 is too old for high FPS/VR gaming.
  5. Good idea! I tried my headset on my laptop and it seemed to work just fine. It looks like a PC issue, I just don't know if I need to replace the whole motherboard on my desktop or if I could fix my mic problems with a sound card instead.
  6. Hey guys, First time poster here. I have a decent headset and microphone with my HyperX KHX-H3CL, but people on Discord and Skype are always complaining about my mic quality and that it sounds "too staticky" or saying "it has interference." My only guess to what's causing this is my older motherboard and built in sound. I've heard that external sound cards are supposed to help with overall sounds qualify, but would it also help with my microphone issues? I'd love any and all advice. Thanks!
