  1. I've got the latest drivers. I haven't experienced any performance issues. I'm using evga precision but that's all good. I ran octane bench and that gives me a consistent score in line with other 2080 tis. Is that normal for windows 10 to have that black edge and not be smooth when resizing windows? Thanks!
  2. Hey, I've read online that some people have had issues with the 2080 ti stuttering in games. I was wondering is there a way to test if the gpu is faulty without playing games? (I don't game at all) Everything seems fine but when resize browser windows and explorer windows the interface lags a bit and there's a black edge on it. Shouldn't it be smooth with a 2080 ti? Attached an image.
  3. Even under load? Idle is about 50-55. What about the top one being a blower?
  4. I'm using EVGA precision to turn the fan speed up to 100 and the top card is still over 80. Would MSI aferburner do a better job?
  5. If it's too high, what can I do to reduce it? I don't want to go with water cooling.
  6. Hey, Just installed two 2080 tis (dual fan) The top card hits around 86 degrees and the bottom 76. Under load whilst gpu rendering. The fans kick in quite loud around 75-80. Are these temps okay? I don't want anything to overheat or anything.
  7. Wouldn't I have to screw in a radiator? And where would I put it? I don't have my build yet but it'll have a 360mm radiator for the cpu
  8. I'm new to configuring PCs so I'd only be able to get a card that I can just slot in unfortunately.
  9. Hi, I am looking to purchase x2 2080 ti cards for a multiple GPU set up. My requirements are they need to be dual slot to fit my motherboard and higher clock speed of around 1600mhz, I won't be doing anything fancy and no over clocking. My question is should I go with the 2080 ti founders edition or something else? I'm looking at the gigabyte windforce OC or the EVGA gaming xc (not ultra) Would these cards be better for cooling as opposed to the founder's edition? I'm concerned about cooling also as I'll be running them with a 1 slot gap. So the coolest 2080 ti would be better. Thanks!
  10. I'm pretty new to configuring PCs, so I have no idea what that is ha! And definitely wouldn't have a clue how to install it. Gotcha. They have 120 coolmaster fan master fans and 120 LL corsair. I'm looking at the 140 silent wings 3. I'll see if they can put em in for me.
  11. Yeah this is the board - https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-XI-HERO-WI-FI/ Could I put one card in that last long slot at the bottom and one in the top one? I can ask if they have that board. I was told by the company that the fans that come with the corsair 750d are good so I wouldn't need to replace them. Is this true? If not, what fans would be good to purchase? Dark base pro fans 140mm? I can see if they'll put em in for me. Thanks both!!
  12. I've already purchased the corsair 750d airflow and sent it to the company. It's the windowed side one. Can they add a fan there?
  13. Right okay, thanks. I've found this motherboard as I'm going with the i9 9900k - https://www.asus.com/uk/Commercial-Servers-Workstations/WS-Z390-PRO/ It's the only board I can find which looks like there's a bit more spacing. Would this be a better option for two triple fan cards? I can ask the company to see if they have this board. Could I request fans from the company? I'm getting it prebuilt, no idea how to put em in ha! It'll be for GPU rendering in redshift, that uses both cards.
  14. I see, there's an ASUS blower card I've seen but reading around people are saying not to go with blower style. Are there any other problems with having a blower and triple fan? I don't care about aesthetics and NVLink, it's a gpu rendering machine rather than gaming. I'm limited with motherboard options, as this will be prebuilt from a website and I'll just be slotting in the cards.
