  1. Hi, Wasn't sure this was the appropriate part of the forums to put this but here we are. I have just purchased the Archer C6 router which will make my Hub 3.0 a modem reason for this was every time someone downloaded anything in the house no other devices could really use the internet (Wireless and Connected) (even browsing) and it has no settings at all so I couldn't enable or disable any functions to fix the issue. We often download almost daily games and such so having no lag whilst that happens would save a lot of complaining. I need to know about what settings to enable/disable as this will have around 10 devices connected to it either ethernet or wireless and my household have around 5 people at one time online gaming/streaming and overall web browsing. I heard something about Mimo and Qos I just can't figure out what to enable and disable and what they do to help my current issue. As you can tell I'm not at all experienced with this so easy to understand bases would be great. Any help will be appreciated. Edit: I also just found out for some reason QoS needs to be disabled in order to enable NAT Boost to fully deliver its max outputs (900mb/s) from each port on the C6 router, Not sure if a firmware fix resolved this.
  2. I've done a little research and ended up sticking to 144-165hz max so I will either get the £150 or carry on researching using the website you linked, thanks again.
  3. Id also like to add I've seen this https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-VG259QM-Widescreen-Multimedia-DisplayPort/dp/B08CRNXPZL/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1 you linked it earlier but its reviews where terrible should I rule this out completely?
  4. I do like the look and the reviews are somewhat good on the asus but my issue is I am a very competitive gamer I've been told to stick to 144hz due to how obtainable it is to match via fps. I do have the money to do this and I've wanted to try this for quite a while so I may go ahead and do so I just hope I can get as smooth of an experience I am getting atm (Let down by colours on the benq hard and no matter what its so bright) Quick and final question, will this actually feel the same or better in terms of If I am playing a game for instance call of duty at 120 fps on a 144hz monitor to if I was playing it with the 240-280hz, I care mainly for the smoothness and I cannot go behind 144hz and I've tried 120hz and 60 recently and frankly 144hz has ruined me nothing feels good below it. Once again I appreciate your help @SolarNova
  5. @SolarNova To use a 240hz monitor smoothly don't you need to match its hz in fps (240hz = 240fps) for the smooth experience?
  6. I've seen these before, They seem like decent options but if necessary I can push my budget to 250-260 if they'd provide better options. @SolarNova Also appreciate the response.
  7. Hi, I've owned a BenQ XL2411P since 2019 and I'm looking to upgrade in quality, I know a basic amount about monitors so therefore I figured i'd post here to see some opinions. I am looking for something within these lines: 24-25inches 144hz-165hz (I can achieve that in most games at low-med around 130-150 fps unless its Esports which I get easily 200+) (Specs for reference are 2070 super ryzen 7 3700x 32gb ram) IPS (I'd like decent colours as the previous monitor has horrible colours) 1ms (Very firm with this due to playing against other players any delay is a disadvantage) Budget is up to £230 willing to spend a little more but the monitor will need to be extremely worth it (I can purchase from Currys UK,Amazon UK, Overclockers UK and Argos UK) Any help is greatly appreciated
  8. @Satyrn @r2724r16 Hey guys, I did a little more digging as well as general tests. I plugged a new monitor aka my one (this is my brothers build) and it works completely fine. I'm going to RMA the monitor as that seems to be the cause Thanks.

  10. Hi I have a budget of around 120 to 140 pounds and I've found this processor which I'm pairing with a 1070 I have on hand will this be a viable open for the next 2 years if not is there a better processor within my budget? Goal is 1080p 75hz low to medium competitive settings (80 fps is what I want on most AAA games) will be playing mainly rust and war zone. I can buy from CCL Computers UK, amazon UK, overclockers UK, Curry's UK Any help is appreciated I need to order within the next hour or so to get a delivery before xmas
  11. @Downkey Apparently there UK also so there stock is massive for gpu's like every card other then 3000 series.

  14. Hi, I am doing a small upgrade on my brothers PC I have a budget of 150-160 pounds. The goal is 1080p@75fps I can buy from these online stores only Amazon UK, Currys UK, Overclockers UK, Novatech UK. I'd prefer going brand new as I've had already a faulty second hand card so purely new. Currently he has I5-7400 16gb DDR4 2133mhz 660 mATX mobo He plays games like Rust,Warzone,Call of duty Cold war/MW and GTA V Online/FiveM.
  15. @Ankh Tech I brought them I will do editing and rendering along side heavy gaming (average around 5-8 hours a day getting clips)
  16. @Ankh TechOk il go for this one as I can get it rn https://www.overclockers.co.uk/super-flower-leadex-iii-argb-750w-80-plus-gold-modular-power-supply-black-ca-065-sf.html I am all okay with this choose no issues whatsoever?
  17. @Ankh TechI will be using it with a 3700x at 4.2-4.4mhz and a 3080 at stock along side 16gb 3600mhz c16 this 750w is enough. Little side question does the 3700x have turbo boost (the overclock applied by itself so I dont have to worry about it)
  18. @Ankh Tech Is also out of stock. @SavageNeo Said this was good https://www.overclockers.co.uk/super-flower-leadex-iii-argb-750w-80-plus-gold-modular-power-supply-black-ca-065-sf.html Do you agree Ankh Tech?
  19. @Ankh TechWent for it but was too late its old out on all 3 websites I use and I only have 100 to spare.
  20. @SavageNeo So all of the listed PSU's will work? which from the 2 I linked was the better one.
  21. @SavageNeo These are the current ones on overclockers on my budget are they any good? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/super-flower-leadex-iii-argb-750w-80-plus-gold-modular-power-supply-black-ca-065-sf.html https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phanteks-amp-750w-80-plus-gold-modular-power-supply-ca-09r-pt.html
