  1. so it would be completely find with a i5-8400?
  2. hello all, I have already bought all of my components but one and I am going to start building my rig soon. I know I will want to be upgrading my components every couple of years (no hard set date) and I am wondering how far this motherboard will take me and if it is worth spending an extra MAX. 50$ more and get something that can support newer chips. Yes I can just spend the extra money and be done with it but I have other expenses that I really need to be considering too. What I am asking is what is the newest chip this motherboard can realistically support. I have looked at the supported chip list for this board but I'm looking for more insight on this topic. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B360-HD3-rev-10#kf Gigabyte - B360 HD3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard Thank you.
  3. Are there specific stocks or other “things” that are related to the rise and fall of computer parts? I know pcpartpicker has a graphic about it but I wanted to know if there was individual stocks or business etc, that control prices. Thanks (i don’t really know what I’m talking about here so excuse me if it is all gibberish)
  4. out of curiosity, what is a 'good airflow' case?
  5. out of curiosity, what is a 'good airflow' case?
  6. ahah I didn't read it over...."is the fan that is on the gpu good enough?"
  7. so you're saying that the fan is find that comes with the one I have..? got a little lost in that aha sorry
  8. my understanding is that I can help with heat displacement since they generally push it out of the case where non reference GPUs just push it back into the case. Also I just wanted to find it to see how much more money it is. Im opting not to get a extra fan so I will only have fans that come with my parts. Any extra heat displacement outside the case would help. Thats at least what I was thinning.
  9. I am trying to find the reference RX 570 8GB on pc part picker Canada but I can't find it. Does anyone know why this is? Am I just having a brain fart and forgetting something? I currently have this in my cart^ but I believe this isn't the original manufacture RX 570 thanks
  10. so setting the XMP at 3000 RAM will let it run at its manufactured speed? so it wouldn't be overclocking the RAM but instead just allowing it to run its proper speed?
  11. If I buy 16GB (8X2) DDR4-3000 RAM and instal it on a DDR4-2133 / 2400 / 2666 / 2933 / 3200 motherboard will it cap off at 2933 or 3000? and if it caps off at 2933, how much slower is that then 3000 in terms of gaming. Thank you
