  1. So the 5700xt wouldn’t be a good buy?
  2. That’s my current build lol, I have all the components in the Pc part picker list already
  3. So should I wait? Or just buy another card?
  4. First of all I would like to say thank you to anyone who helps me out, I need to upgrade my graphics card ASAP, i have roughly $650 burning a hole in my pocket and am currently gaming on an RX550 which is basically integrated graphics. I want to play all the AAA titles at close to max settings at 1440p 144hz(free sync). Should I buy a card now? If yes which one? or should I wait for “big Navi” or next gen Nvidia? My current build is down below PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3 GHz 8-Core Processor $309.99 @ B&H CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM CPU Cooler $39.99 @ Best Buy Motherboard MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard $114.99 @ Best Buy Memory Team Elite Plus 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory Storage Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $84.99 @ B&H Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $44.99 @ Adorama Video Card Sapphire Radeon RX 550 - 512 4 GB PULSE Video Card Case Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case $99.98 @ Newegg Power Supply NZXT HALE82 V2 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply Monitor MSI Optix AG32CQ 31.5" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor Keyboard Logitech G610 Wired Gaming Keyboard $89.99 @ Best Buy Mouse Logitech G502 HERO Wired Optical Mouse $49.99 @ Newegg Headphones Sennheiser GAME ONE Black Headset Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $834.91 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-04-04 11:08 EDT-0400
  5. Looking for something with a little bit of future proofing for the motherboard, or I guess upgrade path would be more correct
  6. Air cooler has been fine so far, I haven’t ran into any thermal throttling, but unable to do any overclocking due to the terrible hp motherboard so that might be a future upgrad
  7. So I bought an Hp prebuilt about 8 months ago, upgraded the power supply and graphics card, down below is my current build, I’m just looking for a recommendation on a new case as well as a new motherboard. Primary use is gaming, looking for either full or mid tower, I don’t care about aesthetics at all.
