  1. Managed to get a 3070ti at RRP in a drop from Scan looking to build a new PC around it, leaning towards 12400f for price to performance over 5600x but open to suggestions. Budget (including currency): £600 sterling but can stretch if needs be. Country: Northern Ireland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Just going to be used for gaming, currently 1080p but with the intention of going to a high refresh rate 1440p monitor soon enough. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): No peripherals needed, have a 2TB HDD to bring over from current machine for mass storage, no RGB if possible think its tacky. Ideally parts on amazon or all from one UK retailer as they charge to deliver here so don't want to buy from multiple retailers and pay multiple postage fees.
  2. Potentially a stupid question, if I set up a monitor beside my bed is there a simple way to switch between the dual monitors at the desk and the one by the bed without unplugging them
  3. I suppose I need to get the measuring tape out and get an idea of the reach id need from the arm, the one you linked looks like it could do the job Thought about a chromebook but want to be able to play games in bed so that rules it out fullstop
  4. Pretty vague title so hope to clear this up, looking a way to play some single player games and use amazon prime/netflix in bed either using my current desktop (6600k, 16gb Ram, 1070) or a dedicated laptop for it. So looking some advice on solutions to do this, TV is out of the question no room for a stand at end of bed, cant mount it on wall and eyesights too bad for one anyways for anything that any amount of text in it. Thinking of a monitor arm affixed to the bedframe down side of bed and just move the monitor into position when I want to use it but not seen many arms with the flexibility id like to get it abit out of the way. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, if I was going down laptop route budget would be around £900
