  1. Had my monitor and GPU RMAd. Problems still present with both the Vega 64 nitro+ and 5700xt nitro+ limited edition, but vega had static line and sometimes blocks. The line flickers on the top half of the screen, intermittently appearing more in the middle, or more in the top. No problems on Samsung QR90 (?) Diablo 2 is also wonky in full screen but fine with -w in shortcut. Flickering in a 3x3 grid and displaying menu letters in order one at a time. So AMD probably said "FUCK THIS SPECIFIC MONITOR ESPECIALLY". Cpu: Ryzen 2700X Ram: RIPJAW 3200 14CL GPU: navi 5700Xt nitro+ Limited edition Psu: 1000W corsair HX1000i

    Wtf???

Literally less than 6 months old. Imma try and stretch it to 5900 XT. Im also hoping to keep it as a part of a collection like my 1950X

    Wtf???

The most i did was play around in Wattman, and even then i mostly left it to auto undervolt. I was running Folding@home. I just did a system restore and now it seems ok???

    Wtf???

So i came into my room and my Vega 64 nitro+ was blasting its fans on full with a black screen. Tried rebooting and now its like this.
  5. I have no clue how to check that. Asus Rog gaming monitor 240 Hz. But even so, shouldn't the glitch then be consistent in all applications then? It changes depending on what GPU I have installed 960 won't show wierd lines on startup, but it is a very well used card, (defective) so that can't be used.(VRM issues) 56 and 64 both show this pattern on boot. 6. So the story so far. Had a Vega 64 nitro + SE Had wired glitchy behaviour in YouTube videos and Chrome browser. So sent it to RMA. Bought a Vega 56 reference model cause it was dirt cheap/had to wait for RMA/old PC could use it. Surprise, same startup issue, but this time fast blinking black lines during chrome usage instead of colourful boxes. So I'm either suspecting the rest of my system OOOR... chrome is fucking with my GPU drivers.
  7. So i have a fancy smanchy HX1000i with the proprietary monitoring software Corsair Link. I also have to wait till my vega 64 comes back from the RMA repair. (3 weeks tomorrow). So i needed a graphics card, i had to pick between a Sapphire X1950 Pro or a HD 6870, so i dust off (quite literally) my HD 6870, which was replaced by 960 due to graphical glitches, which is currently in use and also experiencing graphical glitches. I suspect that the HD 6870 thermal paste has turned into sandpaper, because the graphical errors appear right around 40 degrees C. Im guessing the junction temperature is quite a bit higher? Will the graphical errors disappear if i put on new thermal paste or is there likely more problems than that and will probably resemble putting bandaid on a gushing wound? (Gray/black screen with static 5 mm vertical darker lines running in a 10 mm pattern like so = [IIIIII]. ALSO sometimes the right side of the screen jumps to the left side of the screen from the normal [1I2] to [2I1] ) and stays like that till i take the load off, after which it usually crashes or normalizes)
  8. RMAing it. I'll let you guys know if that was the crux of the issue.
  9. Has artefacts once in a while, and hardcrashed (overheated?) When I played Warframe in 4K max settings and fps. I placed the GPU in the second slot and added a power cable PCIe so both ports get their own connection.(2cents had better performance then?) Noted that the whole system was warm. GPU backplate, noctua nd15 tower and power supply. CPU is Ryzen 7 2700x Ripjaws 3200 Ram Corsair 1000wx
  10. Well then, find me in the Alps...it works... So either a driver problem or choosing the Corsair "Performance" mode helped.
  11. @ChewToy! I'm using the newest available and software 19.1.2 adrenaline. Using the Wattman auto undervolt
  12. @mxk. Hmm i can change the Profile, but not much else. Set it to "Performance"
  13. @mxk. CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x with noctua N14(big ol' boy) RAM: Ripjaws 3200hz C14 MotherBoard: AsRock Taichi Ultimate Storage: Samsung 960 EVO (?)M.2 500Gb GPU: Vega 64 sapphire nitro + ( upgraded from MSI 960 4G gaming) PSU: Corsair HX1000i. Display: Asus XG258 Did install the card and software first. Used DDU to remove any hidden nVidia things later. Reinstalled the Radeon software because of wired software gore (usb shutting down.)
