  1. Imagine a world where Apple and Microsoft work together.... wait... they did?... On this?! WTF?!.. Seriously though if they both put their creative teams together and came up with a system that adapts based on preference... wait that implies they care what you think... never mind. I will go back to learning Linux..
  2. You say it is bottle-necking, what are you doing with it that you are wanting better performance? What corrado33 says is great, but depending on the tasks you are expecting it to do you may not get past the bottleneck.
  3. In my experience with keyboards they are very subjective... one person's idea of perfection is another's trash... though the $60(USD?) will limit the results...
  4. Last I had to deal with ASUS they had great support, have you tried contacting them? If it isn't doing what you expect then it really isn't working, or it is and they will better be able to explain why.
  5. There are several ways, first you can check each of the manufacturers websites, they will list compatible parts (these are not all inclusive). Otherwise you can use pcpartpicker.com they do a pretty good job of showing compatibility. (This will not tell you what will give optimal performance, only what is "compatible".)
  6. I had to look up the board (LOOK AT HE RGB!!) but I didn't see anything showing that. You may want to use a motherboard stud. I have seen them with a rounded end to fill the screw-hole, but unfortunately have been unsuccessful at finding you a link...but it looks like this:
  7. Short answer: Will it do what you are asking? Yes. Are there other options that will do those tasks better? Yes. Is it a good deal for $150(USD?)? If it is an upgrade to your current setup, absolutely. There are a lot of options out there and any number of routes you could take to game/edit video. Depending on your time frame, budget, immediate and future needs, and experience level could get a better setup. Ultimately though only you can say whether that investment is more or less worth it than this.
  8. There is no "Yes or No" answer to your question without follow ups... Most importantly: What do you want it to do? (as in what will you be using your computer for [read: what games]?)
