  1. Hi, For my ryzen 5 vr centered build I am looking at the NZXT h700i computer case. I saw a YouTube vid, but they really didn't address airflow. It's a sweet looking case, but of course I want to keep my components very cool. Yes I am a newbie. But I'm pumped! I plan on getting at least one radiator closed loop cooling but want to get one that has virtually no chance of leaking onto components . Thx...peace Ian S
  2. Thx much guys...very very informative and I hope helpful. (But that depends on my tech ability lol) I have a couple of questions. *How can I find gskill or corsair (bcause I hear good things about them) ddr4 with 3000mhz or more with fast timing...like 10-10-10-## or 16-16-16-## etc....i tried to look but it's hard to tell if they are compatible with the other stuff I'm willing to spend the money on this if I can use it for the next rig. Also I was looking at the NZXT h700i case in black and blue. Looks sharp and is easy to put together but the 64,000 question is the airflow very good? I plan to get at least one closed loop radiator. Sent back my overpriced intel parts today! ?
  3. Thx....i see you went with Intel. I've been on the fence. Is it objectively better for vr and gaming?
  4. That's a really That's a really good price for everything. I just don't want to miss out on features that future boards may have. Thx for showing me this.
  5. Hi.. Is this motherboard good for the ryzen 5 and 7? MSI Gaming AMD Ryzen B350 DDR4 VR Ready HDMI USB 3 CFX ATX Motherboard (B350 TOMAHAWK)
  6. So is that msg motherboard on Amazon for 89.00 more than good enough without being a bottleneck for Andy of my components or software? I suppose I don't mind updating the bios as a one time thing.
  7. But hopefully by that time intel will realize their place and the 9900 will be affordable. I am sending my maximus and 9700k back to amazon
  8. Thx VERY much. Helps a lot that thatcmotherboard will robustly support the 3000's coming up so all I need to sell or give away is cpu.
  9. Thx guys...id rather get the less expensive mobo bcause I heard they are still debating at and whether to have forward comparability or not
  10. Hi, I'm coming from the Mac world and doing a DIY. I have a rtx 2080ti fe. I was going to go intel 'til I heard ryzen 3000 is coming out. So,please, I would greatly appreciate help building a sub 300$ cpu/compatible motherboard. Also I know ram speed is a factor in ryzen cpu performance so suggestions there too pls. When I buy the 3000 ryzen, I'll sell or give away this temporary solution. I also have a seasonic 850 platinum psu A 500gb m.2 sad And the 2080ti fe And nzxt h700i case I REALLY need help (I mean with this computer advice:)) Thx friends I'm excited about becoming part of this community.
