  1. Thank you all for your input! Looks like the Logitech G935 it shall be then!
  2. Hello, I am looking to get a new headset to use for gaming and to listen to music. I am willing to spend around £100-£150 for it. I play all kinds of games and would like surround sound for the extra immersion. I do somewhat care about microphone quality as I often play with friends (doesn't have to be studio quality, just good enough). Being wireless is preferable but not essential. The 4 that I currently have my eyes on are: -Logitech G935 -SteelSeries ARCTIS 7 -Razer Nari -Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver S I am personally leaning towards the Logitech headset as I have a Logitech Keyboard and mouse... I've also heard great things about it's predecessor especially regarding its surround sound. Do any of you have experiences with any of these? Which would you buy out the 4 and why? Do you have something else you'd suggest? Thank you all for your time!
  3. Thank you both very much! I may now continue building haha. Regarding control of the fans... Is there a way to link the fan speed to the cpu's temp? I mean, with the increase in CPU temp, will the fans speed up?
  4. Hello! I am currently in the middle of building my new pc. I have a Corsair Crystal 570X case, Gigabyte z390 Aorus Pro mobo and a corsair h115i Pro AIO. My question is, can I leave the two 4-pin sockets coming from the AIO unplugged? I am not using the 140mm fans that came with it. The radiator with the fans don't fit up top (clearance issues with mobo). So I have it mounted behind the 3 fans upfront. I have the 3 fans connected to sys-fan connectors on the motherboard. Will this work? Would I have any error messages form the AIO due to the fans not being plugged in? Thank you all in advance!
  5. I kinda sold myself the Dell one in the end. I was too afraid of the possible shortcomings of the Asus display. The Dell is also cheaper so... To be honest my only worry about the Dell was the colour reproduction, but from my research I found that it is not bad at all (and excellent for a TN panel). I Also thought that if I really don't like the colours or the size, I can always buy another display later and use this as a 2nd monitor or just sell it..... Thank you for your input, you did help me make my mind up!
  6. My current most played games are Assetto Corsa (which I play fairly competitive) and World of Tanks. I tend to play Battlefield as well and we do sometimes jump on Rainbow Six Siege with a few friends, play it intensively for a couple of days then drop it again for a little while. I also play a fair bit of RTS games. (Total War, Men of War etc.)
  7. I mean, would I notice a difference in a fast paced game between the two? Would the asus one be just fine or could it have major drawbacks?
  8. Thank you for your responses. This is exactly why I can't decide between the two. The Asus probably has better picture quality but the Dell has higher refresh rate and better response time. I'm afraid of ghosting on the 4ms VA panel . Or should I not be?
  9. Hi everyone, I'm currently building a pc and am looking for a monitor at the moment. I have an RTX 2080. I won't use it for video editing or anything like that. But I do play some games where I would enjoy nice visuals. Of these two: - Dell S2719DGF https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07HRZ57ZZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_nvsaDbT5JBHCM - ASUS XG32VQ https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B077831TBZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_lzsaDb8CK9P7R Which would you get? My budget is around £400 but I can push it a little bit if its worth it. Also, do any of you have these? What are your thoughts on them? As far as I'm aware these work fine with g-sync, if your experience says otherwise, please say so. Thank you all in advance!
  10. Thank you! Most people seem to recommend 3000 ram, so I guess the difference in performance doesn't justify the price difference between 3000 and 3200?!
  11. Ah I see, thanks! They are both available with free shipping so that doesn't affect me luckily.
  12. Thank you! Is there any specific reason you changed the cooler other than looks? I actually wouldn't mind doing that, I have messed about in Blender before. Mostly just having fun with the rigid body physics. Unfortunately though, I have to use Solidworks
  13. Sorry, that is what I meant. New CPUs from AMD and possible price drops on both sides. My bad.
