  1. I know, at least I want to know what can improve in my bios.
  2. Hi everyone, I want to create a good profile for my bios and save it since Asus doesn't update my board anymore and I think its time to do it. First of all, I want to overclock if I can the i5. I saw a video some days ago, that its possible but I don't know how to on my board and if I can Here Here are some screenshots from my bios default settings, I hope we can tweak together this. Here you can see my processor and ram i5-4690 b85m-g r2.0 8gb ram ddr3 kingston hyperx 4gb ram ddr3 kingston normal (green one) This is what default looks like and my from always settings And from here I don't change anything else. Under these settings DRAM Timing Digi + CPU Power Management CPU Config I hope you can guide my today ^^
  3. I'm not really worried about the minecraft server.. ark server may be hard to run.
  4. Oh man, I that PCI card is what I need. And I didn't know about that m.2 - SATA port thing, it is good to consider it. Damn, I'm glad that I wrote about this in the forum.
  5. Then i should invest on the fastest ram that my board supports
  6. Then I should choose a Ryzen 7 1700x Any motherboard with m.2 and a lot of sata's, because it would be my file server later. What about the SSD raid 0, its worth for the game server or meh.? And I live in Argentina, so, avoid anything like server's motherboards, stores sell it at +300% the price because they are server parts or system, just for that. CORRUPTS...
  7. I don't know how they perform, plus i have a water cooling system. But hey, what would you recommend.
  8. I want to run a minecraft server modded and maybe ark. Not all together. And some other server that my friends (10 ppl) want to play someday. And later I will use this as a file server. Im currently running Linux with no graphical interface Pentium E5200 at 3.20ghz oc, 4gb ddr2 ram This config is ok? FX 8350 just max speed, no OC with an id-cooling water cooling system that i have. Planning to buy two motherboard so i can replace if it fails. 16gb ram maybe 32gb for mods. A good 240gb ssd for storage, maybe raid with ssd's if you guys recommend that. or should i go for other cpu motherboard and ram ? i would love to go next gen but, i don't know how they perform! Thanks for your help !
  9. I had 2 machines with WD 1TB Blue 7200 64mb, do you think those were the problem? The only way I solved that was disabled settings, such as real-time protection from windows defender, superfetch or like I did, getting a new SSD. And I tried fresh installs. But maybe I'm wrong.
  10. SSD are a requirement for Windows 10. When you install from default Windows 10 in HDD, you will be stuck with 100% HDD usage and you have to disable Windows Defender, Superfetch, and other things to make it work. And in every update, those settings got enabled again by Microsoft. So.. Get an SSD for the OS, and if you are on a budget get the HDD for the storage, BUT I recommend a single LARGE SSD 1TB or something. SSD for Windows HDD for games and stuff. or Large SSD for everything. I hope I've helped
