  1. Hi all, I’m currently in the market to buy a pair of headphones for gaming, as my current ones have become quite worn out. I’ve read that it is generally a better idea to buy a separate set of studio headphones and a microphone for the best possible sound quality and microphone performance respectively, so that is what I have decided to do now. I will be using the headphones for both gaming and listening to music, mainly classic rock, with musicians and bands such as Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Santana and Queen, as well as many others in the 70s and 80s time period. I may want to use these headphones whilst commuting, so a closed back pair may be preferable. At the moment I am not considering using an AMP for the headphones due to budget constraints, but may implement it in the future. My budget for the headphones themselves will be approximately AU$200/US$150. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Hi all, I am currently doing an upgrade of my PC and am looking to move to 3000MHz 32GB RAM, with some RGB lighting as well to be included in the module. However, I am having trouble choosing between the G.SKILL Trident Z RGB or Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro sets for my build. Here is the information for both models on PCPartPicker: G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 32GB 3000MHz: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/gGFXsY/gskill-trident-z-rgb-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3000-memory-f4-3000c16q-32gtzr Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB 3000MHz: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Xbc48d/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-32gb-4-x-8gb-ddr4-3000-memory-cmw32gx4m4c3000c15 I currently also have bought a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum AIO cooler, a triple pack of Corsair LL120 fans, and a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra motherboard. I guess the Corsair has an advantage in that it is able to sync with my other peripherals through one software (iCue), whereas the G.SKILL has to use its own software. The G.SKILL’s aesthetics through its open cut RGB design also looks really good however. Which one would you folks recommend for my build? Is there anything else I might be missing that should swing my decision to one way or the other? Thanks for the help.
