  1. I received feedback to my query from support at Asus today. They said the Intel i3-8100 chip itself would limit the speed of the memory modules to 2400MHz, but that the 3000MHz modules should work without any hassle at that speed. Will update with real-world result when build is done.
  2. Thanks for your quick response and nice tip. Will check it out! Thanks
  3. Hi, I just ordered; Asus Strix Rog H370-F Gaming mobo. Intel i3-8100 processor Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2 x 8GB at 3000MHz The memory module limit on the motherboard is 2600MHz, and Asus' website even says; **DDR4 2666MHz and higher memory modules will run at max. 2666MHz on Intel 8th gen 6-core or higher. The i3-8100 is a 4-core processor. Does anyone know what speed I can hope to get on the memory modules with this setup, and more importantly, will it even work? Any input is appreciated! Thanks, Tom
