  1. So either I'm interpreting this incorrectly or this is stating that for my particular case I DO NOT require an active adapter and the passive will suffice. Or is there still a limitation for DisplayPort to HDMI adapter in case of multiple monitor (3 in my case) and therefore i require an active adapter?
  2. I have recently acquired a MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G GPU which I'm trying to connect to 3 monitors. This GPU has 1x HDMI, 1x DVI, 2x DisplayPort.Unfortunately none of my monitors has DisplayPort Input so from my research I'm left with buying a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and use it on the 3rd monitor1st monitor -> HDMI2nd monitor -> DVI3rd monitor -> DisplayPort -> DisplayPort to HDMI adapter -> HDMIMy question is: does a passive adapter work or do I require an active adapter for this setup to work? I believe the DisplayPort on this GPU is not DP++ and from I could get from my google-fu this means I need an active adapter but the answers are not clear so I'm hoping someone here can confirm.Just in case I'm doing something incorrect with my setup, I also accept advice regarding that Thank you
