  1. Appreciate all the answers. I'll have to upgrade most of my components, so I think i might just save up for a new high end gaming pc.
  2. I see. My bugdet is not 200$. I was wondering if a gtx 1070 used for 200$ is a good deal or not. Do i need a new motherboard?
  3. If i upgrade my GTX 960 to a GTX 1070 and upgrade my ram to 16gb will that do it? I almost play on the lowest settings aswell.
  4. Right now im getting into cod mw. I would like to play the game with 144 frames, since i have a 144hz monitor. Just general any game smooth in 1080p.
  5. Im currently using my 3 year old rig. I would like to upgrade my GPU. I have a GTX 960 4gb. I was looking at a used gtx 1070 for around 200$, is that a good buy or should i look at something else? Specs; - GTX 960 4GB - I5-6400 2.7GHz - 8GB ram - PSU 550W bronze

  7. The screen tearing isnt a problem, its that it lags with 144hz with almost 144fps
  8. 1920x1080, i play with 1280x960 stretched in the game
  9. I used to play alot of csgo with a 27 144hz aoc monitor. I thought that a 27 inch was too big so i went ahead and bought a 24 inch 144hz asus monitor. I didnt really notice anything wrong with it, because i didnt play the game for a while. When i now play the game i sometimes get like 80-140 max (used to get like 200-300). I have enabled 144hz and even with alot of frames it still laggs so much. I can even notice it when moving the cursor on the desktop that it is not smooth at all. I tried using both a DP and a dual dvi cable, which seems not to fix the problem I have tried several things as: - Factory reset os - Use both DVI and DP cable - Checked 144hz on both windows and nivida - Enabled 144hz in the game - Checked the temps(their were very fine) the cpu and gpu usage was very low - Enabled best power solution
