  1. The buyer paid for it, I received the money, but it wasn't insured as the insurance for the package was like half the price of the PC itself Also it was only going 50 miles down south from where I lived, but didn't have a car or anyone to help me deliver it. A month later the package ended up in Norway lol, it took the courier 6 months to find it and 'deliver back to sender'. What actually happened was that they delivered it to the buyer instead of back to me, by that time the buyer received money from eBay and eBay was hunting me to pay them. I didnt want to message the guy asking him if I can collect the pc because it was sooo long and he didn't receive his money for like 2 months from ebay so he couldve taken out the parts and said thats how it arrived. I sent the proof of delivery to eBay and told them that the buyer has both the money and the pc so I'm not going to pay for anything. They kept threatening me for another year and then I guess they just wrote it off as loss. Even though the package wasn't insured I feel like they should compensate for it going to another country and being lost for 6 months and at the end delivering it to the wrong address anyway.... but they just said, hey we deliver it
  2. Yeah, cash in hand sounds like the best option. I sold my previous PC on ebay and it got lost in shipping, long story short ebay doesn't like me so gumtree and Facebook are the only options. Thanks!
  3. I want to sell my PC and I will be selling through sites like gumtree or Facebook marketplace. The obvious way to get paid would be through PayPal, but I'm afraid to get scammed with the PayPal drawback after sending my PC. Are there any good ways of doing so without getting scammed? I can only think of a direct bank transfer
  4. Hi, I've been having this problem for a long time now and I don't know how to deal with it. I noticed that my rendering/encoding times for Media Encoder, AAF, Premier etc are relatively slow. I opened up the task manager to see how much cpu is being used and it sits at around 10-12%... Is there a way I can increase that to 100 and get a quicker render? I'm rendering a video right now and it sits at 9% https://imgur.com/a/Jv1vrWt Also whenever I'm rendering something, as the cpu/gpu gets warmer my fans will spin super fast for a second and as soon as the temperature drops a little then they stop, few seconds later the temperature rises slightly and they go full out again. It keeps doing that for hours which is very annoying, is there a way I could set them up to constantly go faster under heavier workload instead of them pausing and starting all the time? Thanks!
  5. I downloaded the pro version and used the Forced Uninstall, I unchecked the software uninstaller option so that it simply uninstalls it. It said that there is no trace of it left and that it was sucessful, but the software is still there and opens up every time I boot my PC.... Help
  6. It's not selected as one of the startup programs in Task Manager, because it's not even showing up there. Yes, it's running in the background processes
  7. You can even do this in gimp which is free, or any other software that allows you to use layers. So the way this is done is you set a camera on a tripod to make sure that it's not moving. You then take pictures in bursts to capture the guy in different spots. You load up all the images as layers in your software of choice and you simply take the eraser tool and erase away in the positions that the person is in. Because the background is not changing, but only the position of the person, when you erase something on the layer, it shows the layer below it. I hope I make sense, if not let me know and I'll record a quick tutorial for you.
  8. So everytime I start up my PC the TT RGB Plus software pops up on the screen, but because it's not working for me I wanted to uninstall it. If I go to the file directory and use the uninstaller it says that TT RGB has been uninstalled, but it has not. It still pops up every time when I boot up my PC. So there is an option in the software itself that if ticked, it stops the software from running on startup. This doesn't work either. I tried going into the startup panel in Task Manager, but the program is not there... I tried finding it in the Administrative Tools -> Services, but it's not there. Also If I try to uninstall it using the control panel -> uninstall, it brings up the same software uninstaller that says it has been uninstalled, but again it has not. How can I get rid of that? It's really annoying.
  9. In EVGA Precision I have the graph, but even if I set the fan speed to max at 0C it doesn't do anything. I don't know if it's connected to this at all, but also I'm unable to control my Thermaltake AIO fans as it says the controller is not detected even though it's plugged in correctly.
  10. I wanted to test the fans in my GPU, but for some reason the fan control is greyed out. I tried googling this, but didn't find an answer on any other topic. In the settings there is nothing to enable the fan control speed. Does anyone know how to do this? I've noticed that other people have the fan curve tab to set the fan speed according to the temperature, I don't have that either.
