  1. Don't hold up on the brand honestly. They are all marginally similar. It's all coming down to aesthetics and Tempature. The ones with 3 fans will be cooler than 2 or blower.
  2. If you are going to build a high-end system like the one above, spend the extra $30 on faster ram, which really benefits AMD. You can swap out the MOBO for a cheaper one too. 3. I recommend Sennheiser's. I have them myself and love them. Also just replaced the ear pads.
  4. Looks good to me, however, I think a Dark but not to Dark color would be better than the flat white! looks like a lot of empty space!
  5. How can i control pump speed on my AIO? 360MLR cooler master Gigabyte z390 arous pro
  6. The best test is to test the server of your provider. This will give you a speed test between your modem, and their equipment. If it shows 144, you are getting the speed provided. Granted that then needs to get passed off to whoever needs it (this webpage, games, etc)
  7. I have a really good option for me to get an EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3 Hybrid. Should I do it or pick a 3 fan card that has fewer points of failure? How often do pumps on a hybrid card die?!?!?!
  8. I have before, PC must have uninstalled the wireless driver. You are not Hardwired on your internet correct?
  9. im a dumb dumb lol @NinJake
  10. My first try would be to Take out the CMOS battery, wait for a minute, and put it back in. You will have to reload XPM and OC if you have done that already! @Empty__
  11. Kind of. 1080p 144hz is my goal for most of my games, and it's just not there for some on highest settings. Plus having nice components like this, I REALLY want to try to future proof as much as I can. Getting married next year and don't know the next time I can upgrade lol
  12. I have an MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z I got on Black Friday for $550. I Guy is willing to trade me that, plus $150 cash for a brand new RTX 2080 FTW3 Hybrid. I can assume this guy is legit due to mutual friends I've asked. Should I do it, or sell my card and wait for the new Super line up and the new Navi cards to come out?
  13. I have the same issue with my rig. I only play apex though and I stutter ALOT. all max settings with locked FPS at 144.
  14. I think $500 is a little overkill for a 144hz monitor. That's the 240hz range for a price ? The one below has free sync but I think is compatible with Gsync with updated drivers (don't quote me on that) https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824011245&ignorebbr=1&source=region&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Gaming+Monitors-_-N82E16824011245&gclid=CjwKCAjwndvlBRANEiwABrR32DkkeIB1jH57HYkfUrijV5caowfaWRlMLXQ0g4VSf5eHUAU9kh_YyBoCqTsQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs/ Anything in the list above at 144hz will be a good choice!
  15. To make sure it works for the next 3-4 years I would say make sure you get an SSD instead of an HDD and 16gb Ram. If it's not taxed heavy by apps or games, and i5 should be sufficient. Ram is getting utilized a lot by chrome and other apps so I think 16gb is a good standard now.
  16. Solid build for the 1k price point. Personally, I wouldn't really change anything other than the possibility of changing the 500GB 860 evo with a 1TB evo. I got mine on sale for $95, and it happens often. worth the $20 IMO
  17. Came to post because I get the same smell. What voltage did you have to use to get 5.0? and what mobo? @worry
  18. 360mm Rad AIO. i have 3 pulling air in on the front mount, and 3 pushing air out (2 on the top and one on the back). My temps max at like 77 but that's with no overclock i9-9900k. Bigger question, do I buy 3 more fans for a few degrees or is it more? @Eastman51
  19. What is the temperature difference when you have a push/pull config on your rad rather than just a pull config?
  20. All good to know. What is the best 10 series card I can get for cheap? I need to have everything have at least a one-year warranty or it will reflect badly on me if something goes wrong with the machine. We have a Veam back up server in our network that will back up network drives and if so desired this hard drive with nightly backups. Do you think there are ways to make the render time shorter? better hardware? or make it look better with the same budget? or is this the best build for it? @Jurrunio
