  1. If its onboard then most probably its interference from the other components in your PC, I have had the same issues with my speakers back my penium 4 days, what you can try is to lower the volume on your PC as much as possible then just turn up the volume on your speakers (I;m assuming it has a volume control), It should decrease the buzzing, its a fix or a emedy rather that will not require you to buy anything.Good luck.
  2. What are frames anyway? I mean, if for example a particular scene that is set to play in 10 secs, if its made up of 500 frames then the ideal FPS should be 50FPS, you go below that make ther scene looses its fluidity, now if you go beyond 50FPS, then that will make that scene look like you are watching a movie in fast forward mode.. I'm thingking like if for example in the example I've given above, if that 10 sec secene has 700 frames, then the ideal FPS should be 70FPS (because that particuler scene should last 10 secs), Does it work the same as how the old way of animating cartoons work? FPS is represented by the flashing of the individual playing of individually drawn scenes?
  3. This is bit off your topic but may help you validate your gizmo..a few years back I took a workshop on hown to tell if the people I interview on job interviews is telling the truth, people who look up to the left are most likely telling the truth, it indicates that they are trying to recall from memory, and people who look up to right are making up things, just try it, try to remember something you want to remember while looking to the left and compare it while looking up to the right and see which is easier, or try it both again and this time, try to look at your side panel and think of a mod design, it should be easier if you look to the right.. hehe..just floating some thoughts here..
  4. I'm just curius, does anyone know if there is a set maximum number of FPS on a game, ex, if an object in a game has to go from point A to point B, I'm thinking that it is animated by playing several frames consecutively, does it follow that for a particular action sequence, there is a specific number of frames that has to be played to render that scene in a set number of FPS, otherwise if you go beyond that, the animation would appear as a movie in fast forward mode.
  5. IMHO, its not worth the gamble, lets just say you do fix the pins and the motherboard still does not work? it would be very hard or almost impossible to establish if you did it right or of the mobo has been deadf all along, but if your up to the challenge and satisfaction of being able to Fix something likle that, then why not. I've done a lot of buying and selling as well mostly for the fun and itch of upgrading or not being satisfied with something after I buy it and my take on deffective items is that its only safe if its a mechanical issue, like a dent on a case, a busted LED because the results of the possible fixes are pretty much predictable. Goodluck
  6. We have hte same sound card and the same problem and same solution, I have 3 pairs of speakers plugged in and it does work very nicely for games while for music I have to set it to stereo and just use the pair of speakers plugged into the front speaker out, I just hope there is a way to use all 6 speakers for music and not make it sound that bad, well, music is probably different than how movies/game sounds are which I think is designed to play different sounds on each of the 6 speakers when the system is set to 7.1. Does anyone know how I can play stereo in all 6 speakers? I mean for all of them to simply just work as RIGHT and LEFT for Music?
