  1. built-in wifi isn't required, it's a nice-to-have option I think, if PCIe or USB adapter works fine, then that's okay. Yes, all $1200 on the rig
  2. 1. Budget & Location: $1200 USA 2. Aim Gaming: I play games from time to time. The games are not too demanding on GPU, some of my games: Redisdent Evil, 2k, cityskylines, starcraft2. Video editing: I edit videoes occasionally, mostly after road trips and vacations, I don't mind slow rendering time since my videoes aren't that big. All the videoes come from Pixel3 and GoPro Max. 3. Monitors No monitors needed, I have a good monitor now and don't want to replace it. 4. Peripherals No Peripherals needed as well. 5. Why are you upgrading? This is my first personal build for a PC, I am using a laptop now. 6. Others I can use the current SSD on my laptop, I just upgrade it to samsung 980 pro. So a motherboard with m2 would be great. Also it'd be great if the motherboard has built-in wifi module. A small case would be nice because I plan to place the PC on my desk, and if it is quiet, that would be perfect! Thanks in advance!!!
  3. Thank you @OmicronEta and @kelvinhall05 ! It's nice to have a DVD drive as @OmicronEta mentioned. But I also think I can get a better motherboard with built-in WiFi since the budget is $700 and there are almost $200 more to spend in this build. As @kelvinhall05 mentioned, Blue-ray is a better option.
  4. Hello everyone, I am going to build PC for my parents, have no clues about this, all other builds are for gaming, but they don't play Crysis? 1. Budget & Location: My budget is around $700, I live in USA. 2. Aim: The PC will mainly used for web browsing, movie watching, casual games like Tetris? (no external graphic card?), it would be better to include WiFi module. 3. Monitors: Only one monitor would be enough. 4. Peripherals: Keyboard, mouse, stereo are not considered for this build. For OS, windows 10, but please don't include this into budget. 5. Why upgrading: They are using an old laptop which is about to die any minute, I think it would be better to build a PC instead of buying a laptop again. Thanks in advance!
