  1. I'm trying to put some feelers out for a good 1440p with low response time and refresh rate in the triple digits that won't break the bank. Just in case there were any that someone has seen that I can pick up before Linus posts a video on it and I watch the prices skyrocket and the inventory dwindle. Thanks for the help.

    New PC Help

Yes sorry that's what I meant. Ok I will do that. I think I just found the problem, I had the CPU cable plugged in upside down. Will it have messed anything up having done so? Or if I just flip it I should be good to go? Got it all running now, and in the bio, thank you so much for your help.

    New PC Help

Yes, I have the bitfenix prodigy M with a Gigabyte H370M DS3H motherboard, a corsair AX70 psu, a bequite dark rock 4 16 gigs (2x8) ballistix ram and the fans that came with the case. But then how would the fan LED be turning on if its connected to the motherboard.

    New PC Help

Nothing happens when I press the power button, the power button light doesn't come on either. The LED is connected to the mother board through one of the system fan connectors. Yes I have the 24 pin and the 8 pin connnected. I'm not sure if it has lights, but there are not any lights on except for the fan led.

    New PC Help

I have an i7 8700k with an amd vega 64. Nothing happens when I press the power button, power light doesn't even come on. The only way I know that it is getting power is the fan led. Sorry I forgot to comment you when I responded. Not sure what that is, nothing is displayed, the fans don't start running or anything.

  8. Hello, I just finished building my first PC and just as I had been hoping and praying wouldn't happen the whole time I was building it... It won't boot up on the first start. I have no idea what to do and am frustrated and nervous now that my 1500 dollars in computer parts arent working. Please help
  9. Ok thank you very much. Would I be better off doing this or getting an adapter with the card already included?
  10. Well that is unfortunate. Would I be better off buying this chip and adding it to what I now see is the adapter for the actual wifi card? Or would I be better off getting something with it already incorporated like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Broadcom-BCM943602CS-1750Mbps-802-11ac-Wireless-PCi-Express-WiFi-Adapter-BT4-0-/292413428719 ?
  11. Ok so there is a piece that I am missing? This is all that it came with.
  12. Where do I plug the three signal wires into? Also I was under the impression that I only needed to plug this into one of my PCI E slots, plug it into the USB header and I would be good to go.
  13. Yes, I understand that part, I was wondering specifically in regards to the cable coming from where I would screw in the antennas. Are the cables not supposed to be attached to anything?
  14. Hello, I am currently building my first pc and had a question about my wifi card. I received it in the mail and unfortunately, it came with no instructions. It came with a package of screws and the wires that extend from where I would screw on the antenna are not connected to anything and I was wondering if this was supposed to be like this or if I had to use the screws to somehow secure them to the main part. Help is greatly appreciated.
