  1. Hey I'm starting a Minecraft server on an old NAS that my dad doesn't need anymore and im wondering what steps i should take to protect my server and the devices on my network from attacks or any other malicious things that could happen.
  2. I'm building a new computer and I'm wondering if I can just slot my 1050 ti from my old rig in under my Rx 580 and use the 1050ti to control my extra monitors without any problems arising from the conflicting chips on the same motherboard, plz answer
  3. Hi, *first* time builder here. I'm getting the Asus rog Strix b350-f gaming motherboard and I have seen multiple videos and articles showing that the b350 chipset does not support crossfire/SLI, but, the box has a logo indicating "AMD crossfire technology" as seen here: . Now I'm just confused because of this contradiction so I was wondering if this is a marketing tool to make more feature rich which is why it says crossfire technology rather than what I usually see like crossfire capable or crossfire ready or if something has changed to make it crossfire capable.
  4. I'm pretty good with computers but i lack real world experience of building and problem solving involving hardware so i need some guidance. Right now i'm running an AMD FX 6300, 1050 ti etc, you can see why i would want an upgrade. I'm pretty much building a new pc seeing as the only things i'm not changing is my storage and graphics card. I'm wondering if drastically changing so much about my hardware in such a short interval will mess with windows on my ssd because my dad, a long time computer user, said it might do so. Knowing my dad, he is pretty out of date on computers and i suspect that because he runs windows 7 what he says might not apply anymore with windows 10 (specifically windows 10 pro) and recent updates but i would like to have a second opinion so I know what i'm getting into and if he's right or not.
