  1. I don't have too much money to spend. My old monitor just broke so I need one soon. If we take resolution out of the equation, will the 3ms gtg time affect me at all in game? My old monitor was 1ms gtg.
  2. I play R6 everyday, and I'm trying to reach the highest ranks in the game, but not play competitively. I heard that 1ms only really matters for competitive players, however in my case would the monitor listed below do the job? Will anything hold me back? For example, will the 3ms GTG affect me at all in game? https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824236942?Description=1ms%20gtg%20144hz%2027%27%20monitor&cm_re=1ms_gtg%20144hz%2027%27%20monitor-_-24-236-942-_-Product
  3. I'm asking for a friend because yesterday he enabled XMP profiles to run his ram at 3200hz , however now his PC has been acting up and he can't run R6 and gets the "blue screen of death" he says. He has the 2700 not the 2700x.
  4. Like the title states will Ryzen 7 2700 (not the Ryzen 7 2700x) work with 3200mhz RAM?
  5. This is my first time playing BF1 on this system, well I've played it in the past but I can't recall if I had any issues. If changing settings doesn't really help, would it most likely mean my card is degrading? I spent so much money on this card, and it would be a shame if it couldn't even last a year... Also about the OC part. I haven't OC my card before. Does the screen shots show I did?
  6. I will do a test later in a little bit. I got this info from CAM. Does it look okay?
  7. Thank you. It helped a little, but it still isn't smooth. Occasionally there will be drops, and lag. Anything else I can do?
  8. I have an EVGA Rtx 2080, and i7-9700k CPU. I'd expect that the RTX 2080 could run BF1 at at least a stable 144fps at 1080p on ultra, however my card seems to be having issues. I've hard the card for around 8 months now, and I reinstalled BF1 to see how it ran. I get 144fps, but it's awful and not consistent at all. The fps drops, and I get lag spikes every few seconds. With a $800 card I'd expect more, especially since my old PC (RX580) ran it better. Does anyone have any tips, or things I can try to do?
  9. Just did it, still major FPS drops.
  10. I have a EVGA RTX 2080, along with an i7900k CPU. However when I try to play BF1 I get around 144fps, but I have really bad stutters that bring me into the low 70-90s. I have resolution at 100% and 1080p. I should get more FPS. My old PC (RX580) got more stable FPS.... What should I do?
  11. I meant I have 1-2 GB of RAM for the server. I have 16GB my bad.
  12. I have a i7900k Processor, and a RTX 2080. I play minecraft with my younger brother and I prefer installing shaders, as minecraft looks too bland to me lol. However the FPS is very underwhelming. I run the server so I dedicate 1-2 GB of RAM for it, but with Sildur Shaders' I get only 60-100 FPS. Meanwhile videos on youtube show RTX 2080Ti's getting 100+ fps at 4k. I only play at 1080p. The RTX 2080 has been underwhelming. Could there be something wrong with my card, is there anything I can do?
  13. Sorry if this is the wrong section to put this under, but I'm wondering if my CPU and GPU temps are cool enough.
  14. Oh okay thank you. Could my lack of intake affect my the noise? I have three 120mm fans pushing air through a radiator on the front. My RTX 2080 runs at around 70°, my CPU runs at around 65° ,on R6 atleast. Would moving my 360mm radiator into the top help at all? Is the noise possible due to the temps in anyway?
