  1. I have had it for almost a year now sadly. I purchase the 2 Year protection plan from Microcenter but I feel like it would be immoral to go there and abuse that system. There's nothing wrong with it and they will test it and see that anyway.
  2. Ok that makes sence now. I did read that the TI has a different chip but I wasn't sure since they are in the same family. My dumb*** had an impulse buy when I went to Microcenter and I walked out with the FTW3. I wanted a 2080Ti when I was building my pc but I could not find any. I guess I will try and find somewhere to sell it and at least get some money back. Thank you. EDIT: Does anyone reccomend somewhere I can sell it? I'm not concerned about getting the most money back. I wanna avoid Ebay or facebook.
  3. Hello. Is it a bad idea to try and NVLink a EVGA 2080SC and a 2080Ti FTW3? Could the FTW3 benefit at all having a regular 2080 connected as a support card? I know this is kind of a dumb question but I cannot find any info of anybody trying this. I would just go ahead and try but my mobo only has 1 slot and I would have to upgrade. Or should I just go ahead and try to sell my regular 2080? My future apologies for not being well informed on these kind of thing.
  4. Sorry I accidently posted early. Sorry for blank topic X_x
  5. MB: MSI Z370 Gaming Plus Processor: I7-8086K Cooler: CM Hyper 212 GPU: EXGA 2080 XC RAM: G.S. TridentZ 3200 PSU: EVGA 750+ Bronze I have an 8086K overclocked at 5.1gz but noticing the cpu is not staying at 5.1 I see sometimes 4.8g, 4.7g when running benchmarks and the like. I am not seeing over 75*C during Cine Bench or CPU-Z benchmarks. I feel like I am missing something These are my settings showing in this app but I go into actual bios to change them. What other settings could possibly be causing this.
  6. UPDATE! Just got home after work and flipped everything over to the Z370 board. RAM is X.P.M'd to 3200! I am already seeing CPU ghz 4.3-4.5 idle. Thanks so much!
  7. Thanks for the quick reply's. I've ran multiple benchmarks and messed with bios as much as this Mobo will allow me to. 4.3 is as high anycore would ever hit. I know that's it's not a thermal issue since the CPU core/socket temp has never broken 65° after long stress test. I will try to switch it out to a Z370 since I live so close to a Microcenter. Thanks for the help!
  8. I recently built a gaming PC and I have a few questions. My i7-8086 maxes out at 4.3ghz. I'm new to OC'ing and after some of my research I found out that I purchased a MSI H370 Gaming Plus MB. This is a locked board and I cannot overclock it. Stuck at 2666 RAM speed even though XMP is enables for 3200mhz... My bad. My question, is there a max CPU limit on these type of boards that would restrict my CPU from going higher than 4.3 even though the 8086 turbos at 5.0ghz non-overclocked? Second Question If I get the MSI Z370 Gaming Plus board will I be able to use my RAM and CPU at it's advertised speeds? UPDATE! Just got home after work and flipped everything over to the Z370 board. RAM is X.P.M'd to 3200! I am already seeing CPU ghz 4.3-4.5 idle. Thanks so much! UPDATE 2! Currently sitting at a stable (as far as I know) 4.9ghz across all cores @ 1.25v! I still need to learn a bit more through guides but its a good start. My RAM is also bumped up to 3300mhz.
