I just build my first PC a week ago and I am trying to set up my intel optane module, the only problem is that when i try to set it up it says " Intel Optane Memory requires a motherboard with supported Intel 200 series chipset (Or later) to be enabled. But i have a i5 9600k cpu and a Asus ROG z390 - H motherboard that says on the box that it supports intel optane. I am Not using any M.2 SSDs My PC Parts I5 9600k Asus ROG z390 - H Asus 1070 ti 8GB Strix 16 GB Corsair Vengence DDR4 2666mhz Intel Optane 16 GB ( M.2 ) 120 GB Apacer SSD 1 TB Western Digital Hard Drive ( Trying to use optane on )

Im planing my first build soon and I want to get a i5 8600k The cooler someone suggested for me was the cryorig H7, is that enough to cool and overclock my cpu? Ps. Does anyone have a good overclocking guide

Im planning my first build soon but im stuck on the CPU I can get an i5 9600k for the same price as the i5 8600k. The only diffrence is that I will have to ask a reletive to bring it over because it is in a different country( Near by ) and it will take about 2 weeks. Is there a performance difference or any diffrence at all and if so is it worth the wait ? Also will a cryorig h7 be enough to overclock those cpus?

Im a student and want to know if i shoud get a geming destop or laptop? If i get a destop it will cost the same ( excluding the moniter ) but have a 1070 instead of a 1060. I have been doing reaserch for the destop for about 2-3 months but now my dad suggets me to get a laptop instead because of portability Or should i get my desktop but then get a cheep laptop with a 150mx or a 940 ( not sure which is better ) ?

Im on a Semi budget build and i plan to buy a I5 8600 and a 1070 form ASUS. Will the I5 bottle neck the 1070 ? Also if I get a I5 8600k will that work better and if so how to overclock it safely. PS this is my first build

Im planing a semi budget build, this is my first pc build and im planning to get a i5 8600. Ive seen online where people get thier i5 to 5ghz how do i over clock it safely? By the way my cpu cooler will be a cryorig h7 Btw will this pair well with a 1060 6gb strix from asus?
