Hi and thanks for your reply. I actually got the problem solved now. After I had no ideas anymore and not ANY help from Asus support, I unplugged everything once again, only this time I plugged SSD to the originally emty SATA port. SSD works from there, cd and HDD won't. Have no idea why it's like that, they are all SATA 6g ports. Asus support is waste of time. Regards, Tommi

Hi! I am having the same exact problem with my ASUS GL12CP. I even replaced the machine with a new one as I thought it had a faulty sata port. But it's the same story with the new one and I don't know what's going on, did you ever found a solution to this? Thanks, Tommi
