  1. I was going to give that a try but I just did the pc recovery and went back a few days and worked like a charm. Reminds me of an other time I had an issue but with ASUS Armoury Create. ASUS actually has a uninstaller program written for just that. I was on the fence about Armoury Create, read good and bad things, I didn't have a positive experience. Glad you got your issue resolved.
  2. I follow Britec09 as well, very informative. I'm also on sff and was told that Revo uninstaller is a great tool but purchase the Pro version, it does a better job & there is a free trial. Haven't tried it yet. I fixed my issue using Windows Recovery, went back 8 days and was able to completely uninstall.
  3. I did fix it but did not use Revo uninstaller, I was told its a great tool but by the time I received the post I already corrected the problem. I was told to use the Pro version, its better, there is a free trial but not sure how long. I went into my pc's Windows Recovery & went back 8 days, that did the trick and I was able to completely uninstall. I then reinstalled iCUE and all worked perfectly, had to create new fan curves and reset my Corsair AIO screen, have the H100i Elite.
  4. Thanks for the info RONOTHAN, good to know.
  5. Thanks for the info. Yeah I see where it says that on 2-20, I should have downloaded the manual for more info before posting. Thanks for pointing it out.
  6. There is a Bios Flashback Button & Clear CMOS Button on the rear IO on this itx motherboard. My concern is the Flashback Button. If you're not trying to do a bios update & you accidently push the Bios Flashback button, which could easily be done if you see where it's located, will it affect the bios? Delete the bios? or have any negative affects at all? I would think not since it doesn't see a usb stick in the designated slot for a bios update, but need to ask beforehand so I know what to expect. Anyone have some answers or experiences. Thanks in advance...Jp
  7. Is it possible to go to your PC's 'Registry Editor', Computer>HKEY_CURRENT_USER>scroll to Software & delete Corsair file folder?
  8. Has anyone ever used REVO Uninstaller Software? Pros vs Cons. If all else fails it might be worth a try. I follow a guy on YT (Britec09) who talks about it , seems very knowledgeable. Any thoughts?
  9. Thanks for trying to help Sawa Takahashi- When I go to Task Manager>Start Up Apps Corsair is not there & nothing looks suspicious. If I go to Processes Corsair.Service (32bit) is there taking up 24.4mb's memory & Corsair.Service.CpuldRemote is there taking up 31mb's memory. iCUE is running in the background, I have color swirl on my AIO and it shows 28°C, & it fluctuates between 28°C & 30°C which tells me it is monitoring fluid temps. I just don't know what to do at this point, contacting Corsair is basically useless from past experiences. They use to have a toll free technical number but not anymore. Pretty much stuck trying to figure it out on your own. Hoping someone can shed some light on this. Do you think if I reinstall Windows 11 it might correct the problem or just carry it over, hence the same issue? I was thinking of doing the reinstall that keeps all apps and data, I don't want to do a complete reinstall loosing EVERYTHING if at all possible & having to reinstall, Adobe Lr,Ps, Lumenzia, DaVinci Resolve, Afterburner, Paint.net, etc...just to name a few, and lets not forget all the Actions I created in Ps. As for anti-virus Windows Security shows nothing, all good, I also have Norton and all seems to be working properly, no unusual activity. Hope someone can help with this issue.
  10. Opened Task Manager, forced stop. Restarted pc, still same problem. I am the only person on this pc and also the Administrator. When I go to PC>Local Disk (C)> Program Files, where the Corsair folder is I cannot delete the folder, says I have to be the Administrator, but I am the administrator, it doesn't seem to recognize me as such. If I could delete this folder maybe that would do it. Also in PC>Local Disk (C)> Program Files (x86) this is no Corsair folder, I would think one should be there but not sure, I've noticed both of those folders have similar folders inside, just want to point that out. There's a Corsair Folder in Program Files but not in Program Files (x86) Trying to be as thorough as possible. When I go to that folder PC>Local Disk (C)> Program Files and right click on the Corsair Folder for Properties menu>Security under Groups or user names: there is a dialog box with 2 windows, the 2nd box states Permissions for ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES, the applications are: Full control, Modify, Read & execute, List folder contents, Read, Write, Special Permissions. Check marks are applied to: Read & execute, List folder contents, & Read, not Full Control or Modify. If I click on 'EDIT' it takes me to another dialog box where as I can check Allow Full Control & Modify for this folder. It allows me Full Control & Modify, do you think this might work to delete that Corsair folder as a work around? Not sure what Full Control & Modify pertains to in Windows. I'm techy to a point & not a whiz on this stuff. Learning as I go. Your thoughts.
  11. Built my pc at the beginning of 2023 & its been running without issues. Always did iCUE updates, I'm not a gamer, this is a work pc for photo editing, I'm a real estate photographer. PC SPECS: ASUS B660i,i7-12700k, Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 64GB 5200mhz, EVGA GTX 1650 Super, Corsair H100i Elite, SF750, Windows 11 (Home), Keyboard K95 Platinum. I don't have extensive lighting, just 2 fans on the front radiator, ram, pump info (Temp), & keyboard. I don't go for the rainbow color stuff, fans on front radiator are constant light blue & keyboard is solid white, ram is light blue as well. I turned on the pc and before signing in you get the rainbow stuff on fans and keyboard, once signed into Windows 11 it goes to what I programmed into iCUE, light blue fan/ram lights and white keyboard. But this time it didn't, stayed rainbow colors on front fans and random swirling rainbow colors flashing on keyboard. The iCUE icon that was on my taskbar went from the iCUE icon to a white rectangle icon. When I clicked the icon it will not open iCUE, it says can't find iCUE and do I want to 'Browse' . When I go to PC's Apps>Installed Apps, it shows installed but shows nothing about how many MB's or GB's the file is, its blank. When you click on the 3 dots to the right it says Modify or Uninstall, both are greyed out and aren't operable. When I go to Control Panel>All Control Panel Items> Programs and Features it shows all programs on my pc except Corsair or iCUE software. When I go to This PC>Local Disk (C)> Program Files there is a Corsair Folder, I can open it and it shows iCUE5 with associated files. I tried to delete it and a dialog box pops up and says 'Folder In Use" 'The action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program". I went on Corsair's website and downloaded the Trouble Shooter Link, when I choose to Uninstall a program, Corsair/iCUE didn't show up in the dialog box. At this point I downloaded iCUE5 latest version and tried to reinstall, when I go through the steps I get past selecting 'English', click next then it says 'The latest version of iCUE is installed. Under that it gives you 3 options, Open iCUE, Repair App, or Uninstall iCUE. Tried all 3 to no avail. As for other pc monitoring I use After Burner for my GPU fan curve and it monitors CPU & GPU temps and usage on my taskbar so I always have it in sight. It's like iCUE is there but its not letting me in and I can't use it or uninstall it. So I'm stuck with a swirling rainbow flashing color keyboard, rainbow lights on my fans, no cpu monitoring, no controls for my fan curves or any other controls. I am a Prisoner of iCUE! I have the latest Windows 11(Home) ver 22H2 & iCUE5 ver 5.7.106 updates. This issue started before I did the latest Windows 11 update. Hope someone can help me, I'm over iCUE at the moment and want my pc back to normal. All advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and for reading my post.
  12. I'm working on a itx build and installing Corsair RAM, AIO, PSU, & strip lighting. On the Amazon website the AIO (H100i Elite) shows it comes with a Commander Core XT with a RGB 3 pin connection at one end for strip lighting. What you get included in the box is the Commander Core (not XT) & it does not have a 3 pin connection for strip lighting, only 4 pin connections for 6 fans & 6 RGB fan lighting. How can I connect 3 pin strip lighting so I can utilize iCUE software? I have to go from 3 pin strip lighting to 4 pin somehow. Maybe utilize one of the RGB Fan Lighting spaces that is a 4 pin connection. Since it's a itx build I really have no more space to connect both the Commander Core & Commander Core XT controller if that is even possible. If you aren't aware the XT does not have the ability to connect the ribbon cable that runs from the pump to the controller mod, hence the issue. I have to use the Commander Core. Does anyone have any suggestions or am I out of luck here. Thanks for reading.
  13. Looking to do a itx build and considering the ASUS z690i board and read a few articles about the M.2 stacking issue. Apparently the heatsinks come into play when both M.2's are installed and the cover plate doesn't allow for a proper fit, has a bend in it and causes a bow. One article mentioned removing the heatsinks and reinstalling new ones. I want to pair the board with 2, either a Samsung 980 Pro or the newer 990 Pro. Has anyone tried this and if so any problems with fitment? Another article said that a single sided board would fit best instead of a double sided board. Would the Samsung's be considered a double sided board? Any other information pertaining to this would be helpful. Thx
  14. My son pretty much told me the same thing, he had a similar issue. Thanks-
  15. Thanks, I use OneDrive a lot, that's how I send files to clients. My son had a similar issue and he had to update his bios. Lots of things to check before upgrading to say the least. Thanks for your comments.
