  1. I was thinking of going Logitech as I have never had an issue with them in the past. I also have Logitech for everything else at the moment with the exception of my mic.
  2. Hi, I have had my Razer Kraken's for short of a year. I have always had an issue with the braided cable, I would have to untangle it almost daily... That issue can be seen here (Someone elses post on Razer): https://insider.razer.com/index.php?threads/what-do-you-do-when-your-cords-start-bending-into-knots-with-braided-cables.11833/ Well they have started to give me a lot of issues the last month or so. Much like an iPhone charger, if I slightly move they turn off, on, off, on over and over. I have been meaning to replace them for a while but not got round to it. Today I start smelling burning plastic or similar, I look at my pc and dont see any smoke. So, I go to take my headset of to look out my window to see if anyone had a fire bonfire near my house, incase I need to close all the windows around the house. I then feel the heat on my finger as it burns me and see the smoke coming from the cable on my headset... They still work, but I am obviously never plugging them back in... to think what could of happened if I wasn't in the room at the time. First thing I did was google about the headphones. There are a lot of posts on all kinds of forums about the cable becoming tangled so quickly and never going back straight. A lot of posts "How to change the cable on the Razer Krakens" and so on. But, one did stand out to me. This post of their Krakens catching on fire. Now the guy didn't explain it very well or provide any pictures but, it makes me think it might be more of a common issue than first thought? I caught mine before the cable melted much, so there isnt any thing visual except a small white dot. Now it could be caused by many reasons, to my understanding. The wiring inside is most probably damaged anyway because how tightly they knot up. It could be a short in the wiring? My other thought is it overheating because the cable is wrapping in spots. Mine started right up by my head and I was wearing a hoodie. So the cable was probably in with my hood a bit and tightly knotted causing it the get hot, fast. Would like to know what others think. Ima go buy some wireless headphones, any suggestions?
  3. Thank you. I like the look of that one, specs look good except from the fact it's not touchscreen. Anyone else with a better value laptop, let me know
  4. I'm looking to buy my girlfriend a laptop for around $500. She won't be using it for gaming, however I would like as much bang for my buck. What are the best options out there? I would say at least a Quad Core CPU, 8GB ram and integrated graphics is an option however better if not. She would happily settle for a crappy laptop, however I wont, I want something that will last and wont restrict her too much. Thanks
