    Hey y'all! Just watched the new video where Linus talks about NVIDIA GPU passthrough. Here's my question. Can I use passthrough on my RTX 2070 to send NVIDIA Broadcast from my gaming rig to my streaming rig which has a GTX 970 which, as you probably know, is not compatible with that software? Or is that just not what passthrough is for? He talked a lot about Linux use cases but I'm not on a Linux machine. It's Windows 10 on both. Thanks in advance!

    I KNOW you don't have any idea about this term so that's why I'm telling you now. You DID misspell the epithet. But I actually have friends among the nomadic people of Eastern Europe. Most notably the Roma people. And the term "Gypped" is actually a racist term. It harkens back to when white people said that the Roma or other nomadic tribes had cheated them and they lumped all those tribes together a "gypsies". To be cheated was to be "gypped" as in "gypsied" or cheated. And then the Nazis rounded them all up and gassed them. It's a very rare term and a rare epithet in 2020 MAINLY because so few of them remain living now. I KNOW you didn't have any idea where the term came from or you would never have used it. I just wanted to educate you and anyone else who saw your post who didn't know better. This I do in the name of my friend Manoush and for her parents and those who came before her.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH for all this work you're doing! It's a huge number of participants to keep up with. People like YOU are the reason that these kinds of endeavors work! The rest of us are just riding on your back.

    I am in a room that gets slammed for most of the day with sunlight that raises the temp about 15 degrees C. My CPU temp, I have an air cooler, also leaps up to high limits. So I'm not too comfortable putting my CPU through that.

    I'm still running on my GPU. I have gotten a message on my web controller about using my CPU, I think. BUT I gotta draw the line at making me crazy. I can't use my CPU because I live my life via my PC rig.

    Almost the whole working world is in that same boat, my friend. So not worrying is THE WAY to go. Use this time to do other stuff you wanna do...even if it's re-reading Harry Potter!

    Not flexin' but I have done 10 WUs today for almost a million points. I'm using GPU only and I fold 24 hours a day uninterrupted. I have a factory overclocked Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 2070 AMP Extreme Core GPU but don't let all the extra words fool ya! It's still not a Super. BUT yesterday I had basically nothin'! What I DID do was follow instructions on another thread here and add a "beta" flag! Still, I'm not sure if THAT is what's keeping the WUs coming. Because that change didn't do anything right away. What DID get my GPU hummin' again was stopping and re-starting the folding on the web controller. So give that a shot. Reboot before you do if you wanna. Then have a drink like ME!
