  1. I figured it out! I followed the directions found here to change the location of the shell folder %AppData%. I learned a great deal about shell and special folders, too. Hope this helps someone out!
  2. I'm using Windows 10, and I needed to free up storage space from my SSD to HDD, as I only have 561 MB of storage left on the SSD. After looking through my files, I decided that AppData/Roaming took up too much space and that it needed to be moved to the hard drive. I followed the instructions I found here, and they worked. Sort of. When moving the files to the new location, I just typed "D:\" thinking it would create a new folder, but instead, it placed the files individually on my drive. I want them all in a folder on my hard drive or on SSD, but moving all the items into a new folder on my hard drive won't help because the entire purpose of moving the files was that "%appdata%" redirects somewhere else (in this case, "D:\"). Now I don't know how to change the %appdata% directory-thing. Help! Btw, I still have the original AppData/Roaming folder, but it's broken or something because now the properties screen looks like this:
