  1. I want to know another thing, A520 boards Don't allow overclocking. Does that mean precision boost will not work?/the CPU will not be able to reach it's maximum boost clock?
  2. Gigabyte A520I AC. There's no other motherboard available that fits my price bracket. The only other motherboard that's available is the ROG strix B550I but it's $300+ what are your thoughts on the Gigabyte A520I AC ? Edit: b450 ITX aren't available either

  4. Hello! I currently own a XG2431. I wish to play competitive titles like Apex legends and PUBG at the highest possible FPS (240Hz) the CPU can push. Will the 5600x be bottlenecked when used on an A520 motherboard? I've looked around some benchmarks but all of them were done on the highest end motherboards and some were done on a B550. I couldn't find any on an A520. Note: I will not be using PCIE gen 4 nor will I be overclocking. I'll be a stealthy SFF build. The B550/450 ITX motherboards that I found are around $300+ I'd like not to spend that much on a motherboard as I'm splurging quite a bit on a Good PSU. Thank you!
  5. I have a few choices of monitors, along with their prices. the only reason I'm buying it is for competitive gaming. I have separate IPS monitor for other stuff. I don't care much about color reproduction/Contrast ratio/Response times (while necessary for competitive play, a few Miliseconds less will hardly matter compared to my rather shitty internet). What I'm looking for is the one with the best motion clarity ie, the one with the least motion blur/best Motion blur reduction tech/least ghosting/inverse ghosting in the said Overdrive. Asus TUF Gaming VG259QM - $535 ViewSonic XG2530 25” - $658 MSI Oculux NXG252R 24.5 - $528 BENQ ZOWIE XL2540 - $605 BENQ ZOWIE XL2546 - $629 These are the ones I could find that are available.
  6. Makes sense. It would seem that my way of thinking was quite narrow
  7. Then I'll be going for that. Thank you for the suggestion.
  8. What I am aiming for is super f*** high FPS gaming (280hz) for FPS competitive titles. Now, I just checked a few benchmarks and for: 1. 3600+6800 2. 3600+3070 Why is it that 6800 bottlenecks at a higher FPS than the 3070 on the same processor? #At about 260vs300 (R6-1440p) #At about 96 vs 102 (Horizon zero dawn) #and many more (Sauce: Hardware unboxed) Don't processors have smililar (if not same) FPS caps? Isn't CPU Bottleneck at low resolutions; defined by the max amount of frames it can process? How is it different for different GPUs by this big a margin? Wouldn't a processor that makes a 3070 sit at say....80% make 6800 sit at ~%70 or something on the same processor with near identical FPS? Also, I'd like thoughts from you guys about 5600x+3070 vs 3600+6800 (they cost exactly the same) super high refresh rate FPS gaming (ASUS VG259qm) TIA. Edit: Forgive me for posting in the wrong subtopic. I'm on an android and can't find the delete post button (yeah, I'm dumb. Sorry for being dumb)
  9. I have a Arctis 1 Wireless. And man, I hate Micro USB B (well I don't quite like any USB as I've spoiled Myself with magnetic cables) As for my question, if I stick in a magnetic micro USB head onto the headset and just keep it there, would that negatively affect the driver? Or the sound quality? Something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Magnetic-Charging-AVIWIS-Charger-Smartphones-Black/dp/B0829YTY3J
  10. So, I have a Logitech g102 and i play competitive shooters. now, when I plug it in my main PC the mouse keeps double clicking (even the side buttons sometimes double click). But, when I use it on my laptop it works like a blessing from God. When I use a spare mouse on my main PC it doesn't double click either. 1. spare mouse (double click on neither) 2. g102 (double click on PC only) what I have tried: 1. use mouse without logitech gaming driver (helps a little bit) 2. reinstalled driver (doesn't work) One thing i'd like to point out that in the device manager, there's 3 "HID complaint mouse drivers" two of which i have disabled beause i cant uninstall them. I'm totally clueless to what I should do. also, i'm not sure why there are multiple entries TIA
  11. Is there anyway I can test it without me replacing the motherboard just for the sake of checking. (hardware enthusiast senses are tickling me :)) ) PS: I love the meshify series
  12. Specs: R5 2600x, RTX 2060 (zotac), 16gb ram, b450m bazooka plus Note: time stamps for the video: 00:18, 00:48, 01:28 So basically my desktop monitor shows artifacting when displaying dark or black colors plus the monitor does some huge jittering from time to time and turns off for a few seconds randomly (1-2 minutes interval). Peak load and Idle both times The troubleshooting I've done 1) tried a different HDMI cable - problem persists 2) replaced power cable 3 times - problem persists 3) swapped my rtx 2060 with a GTX 750 2gb gddr5 - problem persists 4) Used a different monitor with both GPUs - problem persists 5) used different cables with both GPUs - problem persists 6) used a HDMI to VGA converter and connected to a different port of the main monitor - problem persists 7) updated all the drivers (even the generic pnp drivers) - problem persists 8. reinstalled the entire f****** win 10 by formatting - problem persists I am literally at a loss of words, seeing the artifacting i thought my GPU is dying but since the other one showed the same issue, I'd say the GPU is fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Note: In the span of me composing this topic the black screen occured 8 times and jittered 3times Note: this video of yesterday. (today it's much worse) Note: used DDU for every GPU driver install/uninstall Note: this happens even before the sign-in window in windows during startup so, this must be a hardware defict of sorts 10000000_1355025928018517_1575387348687723262_n.mp4
  13. My router does not support port forwarding, it does only through port triggering. Here is a screenshot of my options and a screenshot of port triggering How do i setup this to work for a game that requres port forwarding? which port should i set to trigger so that i can be always remain open/ when needed? for example. 1. the ports Black ops 4 requires to be open to play 2. the port 19324 used by a minecraft server i created? Thank You In Advance
  14. this issue only happene with rainbow six siege only. not any other game or any other app. steam, orign, even other uplay downloads are stable. only this game download is like this
  15. Hello, Recently i bought my dream PC with the help of this wonderful community who helped me decide the critical parts. I really appreciate how helpful you guys are, thank you so much. now, I installed a new driver (dolby atmos) into my pc and the hardware detection seems a bit off. The driver with the headset connected to the front io panel and the speaker connected to the back io panel. now what happened is. the hardware seems to have locked itself. If i switch places then, the headset is listed as a speaker and the speaker is listed as a headset. normally i wouldn't care and just keep using it just as it is. but if i use the back panel. then the mic input gets lowered so much that i have to talk on the top of my voice for people to hear me. i checked the control panel but couldn't fix it through any microphone setting. so i am not sure how to fix it. basically, even if i have my headphone plugged into the back panel, the control panel shows the headphone as plugged into the front panel while the speaker is connected to the front panel. thank you.
  16. hello, recently i bought a monitor, https://www.viewsonic.com/us/va2256-mhd.html#specs here it says the monitor is 75Hz but in the settings it shows the monitor is 60hz
