Ryzen 5 2600 GTX 1070 Gigabyte 512gb SSD as my bootdrive (About 2 months old) 2tb games drive. Windows 10 fully updated. I dont believe it is a hard drive problem as neither of the drives are reporting any errors and spotify is installed on the bootdrive and crashed aswell.

I try to open project cars 2 and just cause 3 and they refuse to launch properly every single time. I have reinstalled them both and verified both game caches with no luck. I have also had issues with csgo but I can get that to run after a couple of attempts. Spotify also crashed simultaneously with csgo once. Similar problems with FC5. Can anyone point me to a possible fix? I presume it has something to do windows or a interfering program as it is not limited to just steam apps. Thanks in advance

I see, a 7200rpm 2.5 sounds like it would work well for me... How do the acoustics compare between the 2.5 and the 3.5 drives?

I currently have a ssd boot drive and a 2tb 3.5in storage drive. I would like to downgrade to a 2.5in drive as I have space issues... Will there be a noticeable difference between the 2 given they are just storing games, movies and photos etc.? I also have a 16gb octane module lying around that I could boost the drive with if needed.
