  1. Turns on, but only has a black screen. At the time I thought it would be fine (Obviously it's not) Already tried.
  2. I accidentally changed out my CMOS battery while my computer was running. Yes I now know that you aren't supposed to do that, but is there a way to get my computer to start running like normal or is it basically trash now? It's an Asus P5QL Pro, ATX
  3. Yup! That got the job done! Thank you very much!!
  4. Here's when I right click the volume
  5. Ok I deleted the volume, now it's unallocated
  6. When I click "Detecting and repairing disk errors" link, I get blocked
  7. I just went with this link
  8. It says to right click the Volume and to reactivate it, but there's no option to do so.
  9. I clicked import foreign disk and this happened
  10. So I did this, but at disk management it does't show the HDD... well at least I don't think so. It's showing my SSD, disk partion, and C drive, which is lower than my SSD but higher than the HDD I have plugged in. The HDD I have plugged in says it's 250GB on the top sticker, could it be incorrect?
  11. (Dumb question) Should I plug it in while the computer is off? Would this possibly mix up the boot?
  12. Yes, I bought it for cheap from a computer parts place and I don't want to accidentally get the boot drive mixed
  13. I'm wanting to add an HDD to my computer. My main drive is an SSD, and I just want to use the HDD as external storage. How would I go about this? Would I need to somehow wipe the drive since it's used?
