Thanks, I'll look into them. I forgot to add that I'm searching for 27" monitors, I'll check if LG has the same in 27", they usually do.

I'm looking to buy new monitors. I'm on a triple Monitor setup with 3 1080p@60Hz monitors. I'm now looking to replace them with 1440p Monitors. The main (middle) one should also be 144Hz, while the 2 outer Monitors should be 60Hz as I don't see a need to pay for 144Hz when all they are displaying is Browsers and Teamspeak. For aesthetics it would be great to get the 3 from the same lineup so they look like the exact same monitors while one of them has a higher refresh rate. Would be great if you could share them with me :)

Yeah, but how do I get in the menu to configure the disk? Is it an option pre boot?- 9 replies

ESXi compatible Mini-ATX build with Ryzen 5 1600

Wow, thanks. That's definitely useful. Will change them for LSI probably. I only had experience with "prebuilt" raid systems, like the HP Z workstations or HPE/Dell Servers, how does the integration of the controllers work? Will the Bios of the MB just detect it or...?- 9 replies

Yesterday I cleaned my keyboard, basically brushed every key with a sponge and water and vacuumed the switches and everything inside. After drying the keys with a towel and a hair-dryer for a few minutes I put them back in place. Now I noticed that my Tab Key is not working at all and my 1 Key only when I apply really hard pressure. Is there anything I can do or did I fuck up?

Hey, planning to build a mini-server to run multiple VMs (none of which is for storage). Currently my build is this: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor €147.90 @ Alternate Motherboard Gigabyte - GA-A320M-S2H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard €56.85 @ Amazon Deutschland Memory Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory €106.00 @ Amazon Deutschland Video Card Zotac - GeForce GT 710 1 GB PCIE x1 Video Card €51.90 @ Caseking Case BitFenix - Prodigy M Midnight Black MicroATX Mini Tower Case €85.00 Power Supply be quiet! - Pure Power 11 300 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply €47.90 @ Caseking Wired Network Adapter Intel - EXPI9301CT PCI-Express x1 1000 Mbit/s Network Adapter €35.72 @ Senetic Other Dawicontrol DC-624e RAID 4-Kanal SATA 6G Blister LP €59.83 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total €591.10 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-11-27 16:24 CET+0100 Before I go any further, wanted to ask if anyone has better experience than me with Ryzen and ESXi compatibility, as well as compatible RAID Controllers. Not sure about the one I included in the build. I'm open for any suggestions and recommendations Thank you!- 9 replies

I really like this build. Just thinking about getting a AIO water cooler for the CPU, since it's basically the same price tag, or are there any downsides for that?

What about single-threaded performance. Intel is better there as afaik, but is it really noticable in games? What about compatibility, are there any problems that may occur?

Okay, definitely going with RTX. Is the drastic price difference of the 2080TI compared to the 2080 worth it? I guess it would be better to get the 2080 and get a new card in 2-4 years with the saved money. Thanks, I'm quite a fan of Intel, though. Is it dumb nowadays to stick with that mindset and I should definitely go with the 2700X?

So the goal is to build a pretty future proof PC, so for the current age it would be quite high end. The budget is about $2500 without peripherals. Now what I'm unsure about is choosing a 1080TI or a 2080. Currently the 1080TI has slightly better benchmarks for a slightly lower price, but that's also due to the fact that there are no games that utilize ray-tracing at the moment. Maybe this changes in 1-2 years, would the RTX card then be the better choice? Other relevant components of the PC are a 9th gen i7 and 32GB RAM. What would you do?
