  1. I'm not sure whether my motherboard works well so I don't want to take the risk that it may damage my friend's RAM. But I'll try to find a generous friend. I tried both RAM of my current kit separately. And they are all brand new. I think it is very unlikely that both of two new RAM are not functioning.
  2. Actually it has booted with other RAM before. My previous RAM works well at the beginning but after one day, I can still boot into the operating system but the RAM cannot work with a normal frequency and it lags ridiculously. So I returned them and bought my current pair of RAM. I have added the DRAM voltage to 1.5V to make my previous RAM work but it did not help. Is there any possibilities that my DRAM slots have been damaged by such a high voltage?
  3. Hi! I just bought a pair of new RAMs and I'm now having problems with them. When I turn on my PC, it shut down after 2 secs and cannot boot without restart the PSU. I think it looks like a short circuit. My CPU is Ryzen 2700X with a MSI B450i motherboard. And the pair of RAMs are ADATA XPG Z1 3600 CL16 8Gx2. The PSU wattage is 600W. Here is what I have tried. Reset BIOS: no help Plug in only 1 RAM in either slot: no help Remove all RAMs: the PC can be turned on and hang with DRAM bug LED on. I currently do not have any other RAMs to replace and test.Do you guys have any idea where the problem is? Is it RAM, motherboard or DIMM slots? Many thanks!
