  1. Doing the things in article 1 right now. Will go to article 2 next. Praying this fixes my stuff! I have a new GPU on the way, waiting to see if it too has these issues, and if so, then I plan on either keeping this forum open for help (because this has been a huge help) or making a new one due to how long this one has been up for. I still have another week for it to arrive.
  2. So, I changed my dump location to my hard drive, and now I have both a DUMPXXXX.tmp file, and a DumpStack.log file. No minidump file though. Do i share either of these? The TMP file is like over a gig large so id imagine you just would want the log file?
  3. There is no minidump folder. Possibly in another location? Also, Just tried playing siege, now i have a CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error too.
  4. Ran a memory Diagnostic, it didnt detect anything. Should I just scrap my 580 do you think?
  5. Yeah, I'm looking at a replacement right now as it is pretty old. I'm trying to keep my hardware as long as possible, however honestly it happens in a ton of games I throw at it. R6, Rocket league, Cities 2, etc. Valheim even.
  6. This started happening to me shortly after a couple updates came out for one of my favorite games right now, THE FINALS. Didn't happen on release, but after a couple updates it began to be really hard to play games. Basically any game now, if the GPU is under load, it crashes shortly after, usually within 5 minutes of the game running. I always get a BSOD with either SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION or MICROSOFT_STORE_EXCEPTION. I've reinstalled GPU drivers -with DDU removal first- reinstalled games, verified games, verified system files, AND, at this point, reinstalled windows. I believe its GPU related, but now I'm starting to think its maybe not just a software issue, but a hardware issue. SPECS: R5 2600 CPU 16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4, 3200mhz RAM RX 580 8gb GPU 500W evga PSU ASUS A320M-k MOBO Samsung 980 pro 256gb + 2tb WD blue Storage
  7. 650W EVGA Bronze tower cooler (i forget what model, 2 fans on it though) i would need a motherboard upgrade for sure, i have an asus prime A320M-K (i made this pc originally in a super duper budget back in 2018) Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz speed, i dont know latency
  8. Budget (including currency): if brand new, around 1.2k. If replacing, depends on items Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: The Finals, R6Siege, CS2, Rocket League, but also games like Cyberpunk, Far Cry, Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I play at 1080p/144hz, and ideally want to push frames as such. I currently have a Ryzen 2600 and an RX580 8gb Gpu. 16 gb ram, 256ssd+2tb hdd. I was looking into upgrading just because my stuff is old, and knowing my computer can barely even run the games i want other than eSports titles, i dont really know what else to get. I was thinking that my CPU is probably okay for the time being, and really just thinking about maybe getting an RX 6700/6750 xt. Any thoughts?
  9. I've never had this happen before, I was downloading an update for The Finals, and it downloaded the update no problem. It then tried installing the update onto my HDD, when the game is on my SSD? I tried looking up for solutions on the web but I don't understand any of it and I'm afraid of losing my currently downloaded library if I try disconnecting stuff. Any help is sincerely appreciated. I'd like to let it be known that the SSD I'm downloading the update onto has almost 25 gigs of storage available, which is much larger than the actual game, so it should be able to download and unpack and install the whole thing, so I don't know why its doing this. TO ADD TO THIS: I just paused the update since it wasn't doing anything, pulling out of current queue, and it says its missing downloaded files?
  10. Just replaced a MOBO in a PC, old one RMA'd after it fried its own PCIe slots. Upon installing new hardware, I have some problems 1: Upon boot, windows states that because I changed the "security settings" on my device, i need a new PIN, even though i cant connect to the internet to do it, because I don't have LAN drivers 2: For some reason windows wont detect LAN drivers. I do not know why, bios says its working, its not installing any drivers upon booting (Edit: NO, I can't plug it into an ethernet port ATM. Will try that tomorrow (am on EST) 3: GPU has power, has LED's, but wont send video output through, and fans don't spin on boot, only the RGB lights up. I also don't know what to do about that 4: Upon booting, the fans and everything will slowly ramp up, but then slow down for like half a second, as if they stopped, and then start spinning at idle again. I cant tell why? Is this normal? Any help is really appreciated Ryzen 7600 6/12 Radeon RX7600 8gb MSI B650 Edge Wi-Fi EVGA 650W psu 32gb DDR5 Corsair Vengeance RGB 2tb Silicon Power SSD Cooler Master 240 AIO (don't know specific model)
  11. Alright, thanks for the help. Appreciate it. I love ASRock
  12. Sorry! I should have specified. I did do this, I did my GPU in her system, both PCIe slots, then tried her GPU in my build, and My build worked. Recognized it and everything.
  13. fun fact, just came to that conclusion myself. I tested the GPU in my build and it works fine. Tried seating it in a bottom x16 slot and it still didn't work. I think it's the PCIe connectors failing. Is there any advice to fix this? IS there a way to fix it? Edit: I don't know how to make sure they are making contact with each other other than seeing it go all the way in. Is there something i should try before thinking the whole pcie bus failed?
  14. Built a computer for my girlfriend, and (yippie) everything was working for the first few days. Takes it to college, plays a game of overwatch, and the whole thing just shuts off. Upon rebooting, GPU is undetected in Device manager, and thinks its not connected to the PC. I've used DDU and restarted several times, no matter what It'll only output from motherboard. I'm planning on swapping it into my current build to see if its totally fried, should I prep for the worst?
  15. I recently put several new fans and a new cooler into my system. Since then, my internet speeds have been great, except for this one problem. Every 4-5 seconds or so my internet will almost turn off. It never loses connection, but it develops this massive delay and then will send out a ton of information all at once. I have tried different wifi networks, different wifi adapters, restarted/updated everything i possibly could, even unplugged all of the fans/ cooler I have installed, nothing. Any Ideas as to what this could be?
