  1. But can it burn or somehow break the fan? And can the fan be replaced?
  2. Hi, I just edited my graphics card's fan speed curve because it was hitting 82 degrees Celsius and I wasnt very comfortable with it at that temp. The graphics card is a gtx 1070 founders edition. The photo of the fan sped curve is shown bellow. What I am most worried about is either somehow overloading the fan and breaking it or burning it out or even having it catch fire! Can any of this happen? And if so can the fan easily be replaced? Or am I just an idiot for even editing the fan speed in the first place?
  3. What does that mean (I'm recently getting back into pc gaming and have forgotten almost everything)
  4. @Whiro I checked my notifications again and it turns out it was this temperature monitoring software called "CAM" that was giving the notifications about the temp. I honestly have no idea what to believe about the temp because of the notifications. Heres a photo of the notification
  5. My graphics card is a gtx 1070 founders edition and has consistently been hitting 80-82 degrees Celsius while playing fortnite on a 2k monitor on medium high settings. I have 3 intake fans on my case and 1 output fan. I'm really, really worried about it overheating because I'll occasionally get warnings from windows. When I put my hand on the part of the back of my computer where the graphics card outputs air, the air it blows out is kinda hot. I honestly have to idea what to do. Buy a new fan? Somehow water cool my graphics card? Despite me having no money to spend on water cooling. Any advice or help would be really good and very much appreciated.
  6. This might be kind of a dumbass question but why would windows say that it'll get damaged? Maybe to prevent lawsuits?
  7. Case is about a year old idk how to describe the airflow situation but theres a good amount (3 intake fans) (1 output)
  8. Windows showed a notification saying that having it at 70 for a prolonged time could damage its lifespan
  9. Gtx 1070 founders edition, no custom fans, havent overclocked it
  10. I just got a new monitor that can do 144hz and is 2k. Games like minecraft work fine but as soon as I turn on fortnite the temperature skyrockets to like 70 degrees in under 15 seconds. Idk what to do so any help would be appreciated
  11. Yup your totally right, I wasnt thinking about all of that. Also kinda off topic bit do you know where I could check all the posts I've ever made (including posts that have been moved to other sections of the site) if I'm on mobile
