  1. About 2 weeks ago I had cpu troubles, I had been playing video games and then decided to turn off my computer, about 2 hours later I go to turn it back on and no signal posted, I hadn't moved anything. All the fans were moving, gpu as well, but I noticed my cpu debug light was on so I tried everything. I cleared CMOS, took out the battery, checked all of my cables, and nothing. The only thing to do was get it swapped with a new CPU. Flash forward to today where I receive my new 3700x, I install it, and everything was the same, the fans were on, but the cpu debug light was as well. At this point I have no idea what to do if it's a cpu problem and even the new cpu replacement won't fix the problem. 2. I tried booting into bios but still don't get a live monitor. As far as I know, windows didn't update before turning it off and the last time it did was a few days ago, so I'm not sure if that's of any use information wise.
  3. I just turned my pc off about an hour ago, and now that I went to turn it back on, my monitor says there is no signal from my mini DP. I wanted to see if it was the cable or not so I connected my HDMI into it and it receives no signal from the HDMI either. I was gaming and browsing before I turned it off and this has never happened before. I disconnected and cleaned my gpu, put it back, tried both cables and I still have no signal. I'm not sure what is going on or what else to try? Dell u2518D Ryzen 7 3700x 2060 super Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB HP ex920 ssd 512gb Samsung 860 evo 1tb Corsair CX Series 650 Watt
  4. I've been looking for a 4k laptop, for media consumption and haven't been able to find a website with concrete data or any sort of list that shows the ones with the longest battery life. Are there any websites like that out there?
  5. I moved my pictures from my boot m.2 to my ssd and since I didn't like it I wanted to move it back, but the folder was lost so I made another pictures folder, and I did not realize that I merged folders to my whole ssd. So now I try to move the location back and it says "Failed to build the list regular subdirectories under F:\System Volume Information. Access is denied." How do I revert back? Also, how can I make a file system like in the boot drive?
  6. Yes it's formatted to fat32 and placed on USB
  7. That's the thing, I see no red led, I saw the video, but the led isn't turning on.
  8. I did answer, in edit, but no the motherboard doesn't light up.
  9. Well it doesn't seem like it's updating but I am trying bios flashback, connected a USB and all, but there's no sign of anything happening

  12. I've connected most of the stuff to my b450 pro carbon ac, admittedly there's a USB 2.0 connector that I don't know where it goes or if I should plug it in, but the pc power button turns on but when I click it nothing happens. I've checked every cable and they are all in.
  13. Fair point, I never thought of it that way, it's only about 450 gb or so.
  14. I will soon be building a desktop, but I'm unsure how to transfer my data from my laptop to my future desktop. I'd seen the LAN option and the PC to PC USB 3 cable, but I'm unsure which would be best? Also, my laptop has a thunderbolt 3 port, any way that can be used instead of the other options.
