  1. Guess I’ll call them and see what kind of excuses they have for me. It is crazy fast though.
  2. Yes and it’s not during specific times of the day either. I got the 803 speed at 7pm on a weekday and the 128 speed at 3am on a weekday so that led me to believe they were right about it not being shared. I’m (newborn) new to all this so I’m not entirely sure if I should be upset or not...lol

  4. Comcast says it’s not shared and I’m leaning towards believing that. If it was shared I would see drops at peak times right? And I’m not seeing that
  5. I know this may sound crazy but I just recently got internet in my home. I started with a 60mgbs plan and a Google WiFi mesh setup. Modem is Arris surfboard sb8200. At 60mgbs and using the Google WiFi app I was seeing very consistent speeds between 65-70 down. Then came the offer I couldn’t refuse...Gigabit Speed (Xfinity) Now ever time I do a speed test through the Google app I see speed swings on the download side. I would guess that around 75% of the time it’s showing between 600-650 down but I have seen as high as 803 and as low as 128. The upload speed stays consistent at 38-39. I’m not saying I’m necessarily unhappy about this (unless I should be) I just don’t understand why there was consistency with a 60mgbs plan and no real consistency with a gigabit plan. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
