that's sad news. can the chip be removed from the board with heat guns? and if i could buy a replacement 1050ti chip to solder in, will that be possible? what do you think?

Hi, I bought an Acer Nitro i5 with a gtx1050 gpu and 4gb Ram around 8 months ago, i just recently started gaming on it, I installed speccy one day and found out that i had 2Gb less graphics, since the store from i bought had told me it had 4gb of graphics, the only reason i bought it, so I went and had a talk with them but they said since it's been a long time after purchase they can't do anything. I am very frustrated about this and am wondering if the GPU chip can be swappable to a GTX1050Ti? is it possible?
