  1. So, I looked at servers and nothing is cost effective so.. I decided to build a server instead. Right now, the plan is a 4790k 32gb of ddr4 and I'll be running to start off 2 exos 18TB drives. With that being said, I've already selected a 4u case, my question is the PSU. I will be using this server to file hose as well as host Plex. I want to be able to transcode at least one 4k stream however, for now this will suffice as I work out stopping transcoding with external subs. What is a good PSU brand that doesn't break the bank. I believe this will need a 2u power supply. Any help is greatly appreciated, redundant power isn't truly needed
  2. Yes it is but when most of these reviewers review the items... That is normally their key point instead of thermal load, being modular, etc... usually they just focus on price point and whether or not it leaks...
  3. It did help immensely actually... I was looking at a new one as I currently have the kraken x61 but I was trying to lean more towards one that is modular and handles heat load well... Unfortunately it is looking like I can't really get that...
  4. Essentially to an extent... I want to know what cooler will handle the most heat load and does well with it... not just this one is the best because we say it is and because it doesn't leak ...
  5. Basically I wanted to know which AIO cooler truly cools your PC the most...
  6. I do realize that... I bought mine about 5 years ago... back then I had never heard of them called AIO coolers... I haven't bought another one since but still I overclock like crazy so a liquid is needed... Currently I am overclocked to 4.6ghz on mine...
  7. I want to kind of throw a cog in the loop here... I see all this junk all over saying this is the best (I guess they are called AIO coolers now?), etc... I was wondering if someone had actual data too though. I know that it can only cool it so much but I would love to see data on which ones truly do cool better in a temperature fashion... If that makes any sort of sense...
