Hi, My current setup is coming to an end, and i want to upgrade it. What I want from a audio system is to switch from headphones to speaker without changing software settings. currently my speakers have a physical volume control with a headphone and mic. jack, which switches to headphones when i plug them in. I would like to continue to have this flexibility, maybe without plunging them in and out but via a switch. However, I do not really know my way around the required hardware i would need for this. I do not have a dedicated soundcard but use the on-board one. Quality is an issue to me but it must not be high end, but rather decent middle class. Thanks for any tips, recommendations
