  1. Hi, am current planning on building a new PC from scratch. Aim is to be able to play games on 1080p~1440p with a min stable 60fps. Games would included: -Newer AAA titles such as AC odyssey, Destiny 2.. etc -Future AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077 -Older titles such as Witcher 3 etc. Country: Malaysia (MYR) Planning to run on at max 2 monitors: 27'' 144hz for 1 and the other will be a standard 24'' 60hz I've already chosen the parts with some probable changes in light of the new announcements made for the Ryzen 3000 & the RTX super cards. Here's the list of the parts I've chosen from the options available at my local store: Official list from store: IDEALTECH PC BUILDER.pdf CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor (MYR 820) CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H7 Quad Lumi 49 CFM CPU Cooler (MYR 229) Motherboard: Gigabyte - X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard (MYR 709) Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (MYR 649) Storage: Gigabyte - M.2 NVMe PCIe 512 GB (MYR 359) Storage: Gigabyte - M.2 NVMe PCIe 256 GB (MYR 219) Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GAMING OC Video Card (MYR 1,899) Case: Corsair - Crystal 460X RGB ATX Mid Tower Case (MYR 619) Power Supply: FSP Hydro PTM 650 (80+ Platinum/Full Modular) (MYR 499) Total cost: MYR 5,942 Approx: USD 1,436 Might plan to swap: RTX 2060 to a RTX 2060 super Ryzen 5 2600x to a Ryzen 5 3600x Would like to build to also be somewhat future proofed for the next 4~5 years if possible. Advice needed includes: 1. Are any parts chosen somewhat of an overkill? 2. Any changes required due to compatibility issues? 3. Should I just wait for x570? Thanks in advance guys
  2. Oops sorry m8 hahahhaa, where can I find the guidelines
  3. Hi would like to know if current pc parts (e.g cpu, gpu, ram) prices r inflated or is it a good time to break the piggy Bank and spend all the money I have. Thanks in advance
  4. Aights, just afraid that some of the parts listed in pcpartpicker r not available in my country #feelsbad
  5. Currently my budget sits round $900 (round RM4,000 *ye my currency sucks*) The parts I'm planning to get r as listed below Thinking if a ryzen 5 2600 will fit in there nice... Hahahaha. On a side note, r gpu/cpus prices super inflated right now???
  6. Hey peeps, planning to get a ryzen 5 2600x in the near future and am thinking on what motherboard would fit best. Currently I'm sticking yo the gigabyte b450 auros Pro for budget purposes but I am willing to break the bank alittle Thanks in advance
  7. Thanks for the detailed explanation. What is your opinion on this motherboard for future compatibility? Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro. Was thinking of getting the Asus B450F strix, but settled for the gigabyte mb due to budget restraints
  8. Am just wondering which is better? The gigabyte 1060 windforce 6gb or the Asus Rog 1060 strix. Also is the ryzen 3 2200g a good fit for the gpus above or shud I opt for the ryzen 5 variants instead. And also r the parts mentioned above future proofed? (what's the maximum lifespan till it turns obsolete like my gtx760 :D) For casual gaming (games such as AC, Witcher or dota)
