  1. Hey guys. Recently got an X34P and I love it. Only issue is not having a secondary screen. I plan on having a 4k screen for media, browsing and eventually CAD as I progress through my engineering degree as I hear curved monitors arent the best for CAD. Anyway to the point. What 4k monitors pair well with the x34p besides the 4k predator which is pricey due to the Gsync ect.
  2. Well to add on to this another chair has come up for me. Noblechairs epic leather. It's on sale for same price as titan right now 529 AUD. So durability in leather is cool. Ergonomic chairs are fine but I find they hurt my back more and while they are good for sitting for 8 hours a day you cant really chill in them like you can a gaming chair. For example I'm sometimes one to spite cross legged.
  3. Dreamzlol Participant reply edit herring short code posted moments ago O.P. My chair has finally failed me (an executive officeworks chair). For xmas was going to be getting a monitor but now it's the chair. So I cannot decide between omega or titan. I get a sore back all the time probably due to weight but either way adjustability will be awesome. I'm a short guy 172cm (5ft 8 ) but I weigh 102kgs (225lbs) . My main issue would be the fact that my shortness is all in the legs with a normal sized torso so not sure if titan will be too big in that sense. If anyone smaller owns the titan I'd love to know how you went with it. Given my size I'm recommended the omega but I'm on the upper of the weight limit and also I love the built in lumbar feature. So yeh based on my awkward body size what would you recommend ?
  4. I'm getting a new monitor for xmas which has a standard 75x75 or 100x100 vesa mount. I want to put it on a dual arm with my existing 24" however it has a 100x200 mount. How would I go by doing this. Would I be able to mount this bracket to the monitor and then the monitor arm into the bracket ? https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/brateck-23-42-display-wall-bracket-201c-anbtlc201c
  5. Might have to go 144hz 1440p and hope that something pops up in my budget during sales. In saying that do I need to get 100+ fps at 1440p to see and feel that difference. I have spent all night overclocked my 970 and getting solid performance but still on valley ultra 1080p getting 70fps avg. When I 3dmarked the gpu I'm getting 95% the performance of a 1070 which seems to just get avg 60 fps at 1440
  6. So would you say I would see any noticable difference between 1440p 75hz vs 144hz ?
  7. Yeh for 4k I'm leaning toward that. I do like the color and viewing angle for 4k. How do VA panels fair in comparison ?
  8. Hey guys looking for best upgrade for my budget of $450 AUD ~$325 USD. I run a 970gtx and a standard 1080p 60hz monitor. I'm looking to go to 1440p or 4k (for content still game in 1440p). Mid next year I'm doing a full high end build and will get a high end ultrawide like the x34p so looking as something that will pair nice as a secondary monitor in the future. Here are a few options I am looking at I want to stick to 28 and 27" panel as anything bigger or smaller will look poor with a 34/35 UW. One is a gamble but really good for money. The others are over budget but maybe black Friday sales make them viable ?
