  1. Be sure to name the file "MSI.ROM" on the root of the thumbdrive. Then, run Flashback and it should take it.
  2. Hey guys, I just updated my BIOS from 1.5 to 1.8 on my MSI B450 Gaming Plus. After update, all my BIOS was resetted because of the new UI they put (I don't know why, but I like it, it's simpler). Now, when I re-enabled my XMP Profile #2 (DDR4-2933 because Ryzen 2000 doesn't support 3000Mhz), Windows just decided to not know what memory it is. Is this fixable? EDIT: I tried disabling XMP or using Profile #1 (DDR4-2800) but it still shows me the same thing as below. CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X MB: MSI B450 Gaming Plus (ATX version) RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000Mhz Dual-Channel (2x8GB kit)
  3. Hey guys, So yesterday I bought a used AIO from Fractal Design, the Celsius S24. I saw it has good reviews and for my needs it was perfect. The owner bought it in August and used it normally for his Intel CPU. Now, I have installed it in my PC, (NZXT H500 case) and I noticed the pump makes a little clicking noise. Is that a normal thing? Also, how the heck am I supposed to configure this thing? The "Auto" mode just peaks and drops the pump RPM whenever the CPU heats. I tried in PWM but the stock curve from my UEFI goes up to 8000RPM, and my pump only goes form 900-3000RPM. I DO have a Pump header on my board but it doesn't change a thing.
  4. Yeah well having the official driver helps a lot! They are tuned to use the full potential of the card. Is it still connecting to the wrong network?
  5. Let me guess, the network was in auto-connect? If so, you're not an idiot. Just another guy who can't find anything in Windows 10, just like me!
  6. Well in this case I would get the most of it then change for a cable/PowerLine adapter as soon as possible. It may be due to your router being old or slow but the only thing to test is rebooting it.
  7. Your Wi-Fi may have fallback to 5Ghz after reformat, which has a smaller range. Check that you are connected to the 2.4Ghz range of your router. Some routers name the networks differently, like NET and NET_5G. This way you can choose what network you connect to. To extend the range, any Wifi extender will do it. Like I said, I recommend a PowerLine adapter since they do both. It will extend your Wi-Fi with more APs and provide a Ethernet port to connect a cable. These PowerLine adapters use the power cables in your house to transmit data. Pretty much the inverse of PoE.
  8. What he means is verify if your Windows is configured for autoconnect on that network but I doubt so, since you told us the network isn't saved in Known networks. However I recommend double-checking as it is common that Windows doesn't do what we tell it. Also, since you can't use a cable, I would suggest to keep Wi-Fi and try making it work, then when you have more money, buy a PowerLine extender. It will allow you to connect with a cable without having a 100ft cable in your house.
  9. I think your adapter is simply busted. I would go buy a new one or even better, use a cable! Wi-Fi is known to be unreliable for games and heavy traffic.
  10. I would contact you board manufacturer and see if they have a Beta BIOS that is compatible with your RAM modules.
  11. Have you tried updating your BIOS? There must be an update to support more RAM models. If there is not, you may have a dead RAM stick.
  12. The video tells the rest as mentioned by @hiitswilliam. I do agree however that it should be mentionned in the description. My point is just that there is more than 2-3 parts as you were saying. Thank you. I was simply trying to give more information.
